Poor
Room and facilities are good
Staff & Service quality is very poor and non-existent. Food quality is shockingly poor and there was clearly no attention to the food for this kind of resort. Rental for snorkeling gears are intentionally made impossible, to force customers to take their guided tours. Horrible experience compared to nearby resorts.

Very Good
The resort is absolutely beautiful, with several restaurants and incredible snorkeling right on the house reef. We saw an amazing variety of fish and vibrant coral just steps from the beach and even on a windy day you didn't feel it when on the chairs at the beach because of the well-placed wind barriers between each one. The staff was exceptionally friendly, and our room was spotless every single day. We especially enjoyed dining at Club 159 on the beach, which featured live music at night and a great atmosphere. Free alcoholic drinks were a welcome surprise! We also loved the spa services. There were plenty of activities offered throughout the day, including yoga and volleyball, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We truly appreciated being able to enjoy lunch upon arrival, even before the official check-in time, and again after check-out on our last day. That extra level of hospitality made our experience even more special.
There were several things that did not meet our expectations: 1) English Fluency: The staff did not speak English very well. Apparently Fort Arabesque is a major vacation destination for Germans and the staff spoke fluent German. However, even basic English conversations were difficult for the staff such as "Do I need to be in my room when you pick up our bags for checkout?" Even when wording things 3 different ways we had to sometimes just say "Nevermind". And these were front desk and concierge folks. There were other staff on the beach and at some of the restaurants that spoke better English. 2) Premium Plan: Being foodies, we upgraded to the premium plan allowing us to eat in the premium restaurants - Club 159 and Pavilion. Some dishes were just okay and some were very good, but other than a dish or two it was not 'gourmet'. I would definitely say Club 159 was our favorite of the two though. 3) Food in General: The specialty restaurants really disappointed us. My husband was so excited to have Mexican at La Cantina only to find that it only had nachos, rice, and 2 other things. No tacos, enchiladas, etc. We were also very excited to try the highly rated Greek restaurant on site but it was fully booked for dinner for days so we had lunch there one day and the food served was not Greek. There were 4 or 5 options - rice, fish, chicken fajitas (but no actual fajita bread with it), and American hot dogs. I don't know if they only serve Greek for dinner or what. Also, in general, the desserts at the resort regardless of restaurant were just not up to par. The only ones we had the entire time that were actually good were the Baked Alaska at the Pavilion and the Mövenpick ice cream. 4) Showtimes: Every evening there is a show in the Arena but they start around 8:30 so we never got to attend one because that is right in the middle of dinner time.

our room had a constant noise between wall that hotel couldnt fix, they didnt want to change us to another room while telling us to upgrade instead Food from buffett was just ok, all specialities restaurant required reservation at least 1 week ahead, but we are only staying 2 days so simply not realistic overall disappointment from staff to resolve issues

Wonderful
Lovely service and everything as expected. Food is good, hotel facilities are good comparing the prices. The beach has a reef so you won't need to go anywhere for snorkeling. We did, it was not worth after seeing the reef in front of the hotel.
January is kind of cold to enjoy the beach for swimming, Weather +25 degree should be good for swimming. This comment is not related to Hotel. Just for your information.

Hotel premises flourished, heated pools with wind shields, good food, good service, amazing coral reefs- you can walk in the sea and see corals , don’t even need to swim if you don’t want to. Nice beach.
Poor internet in the room Vanity sets need a revamp (no cotton pads, ect) The children pool is not sheltered from the wind The a la carte restaurants are difficult to get to, we booked Greek restaurant on the first night and the first availability was on our last day of stay.

Clean, location of the resort, beach, staff are very polite and nice, everything except the noise level on Christmas Eve
Our room was in the building close to the Christmas dinner tent (rooms 3118 and 4424). We had a trip to Cairo on early Christmas morning and we could not sleep because of the loud noise of the music until midnight. It was very stressful. In the past, Christmas dinner was more quiet, done at the restaurants with candle lights on tables and no loud music nor amplifier microphones and big sound systems. One of the best advantages of Fort Arabesque was their policy of low noise pollution, which is common in surrounding resorts.

I am not a huge fan of all-inclusive resorts, but this one was exceptionally nice! Good and plenty buffet food, friendly staff (especially with our kid) and overall beautiful and comfortable resort. Despite it was fully booked it didn’t feel too busy. Snorkelling right from the beach with wonderful coral and fish was superb. Could easily have stayed a week longer.
Leaving ;-)

Clean, nice rooms, great reef, good food, bottled drinks in the resort and in the minibar in the room. After 4 nights we moved to a 5 star hotel nearby for aquapark for our kids. For almost the same price it was much much better our stay at Fort Arabesque, it is by far my favourite place in Hurghada. And the gardens are the most beautiful, well kept and great to have a walk in the evening.

The resort is amazing, probably the best one in the bay. The staff and the service are excellent. The beach is great, and the sea is rich with colorful fish for snorkeling. The beach bar is also beautiful, and you can eat lunch and dinner there. The rooms are big enough and so are the bathrooms.
The beach has beach beds in 6 rows, and all rows have some fence behind them. This means that only the first row sees the sea, and the other 5 rows don't see the sea. This was terrible. The beach boys try to sell you a beach beds reservation for 75 euros a week, and for the second row. I don't want to pay for beach beds in an all inclusive arrangement. The bed was not comfortable, it had a leaning towards the center, so it wasn't flat.

I would whole heartedly recommend this all inclusive retreat to anyone going to Hugrada. The place was clean, vast, the food was delicious, staff were always welcoming and we never felt there was anything missing from our trip. Never thought that we could have done with more. Special shout out to the Indian chef in West Bay. He's excellent at his craft and very considerate towards his guests, definitely such an asset to the place. That said, I think I just wanted to thank all the staff for taking such good care of us. Finally the beach linked to the hotel is excellent with some great snorkeling spots
Nothing that I could complain about

We went as two families with grandma. The service was very good. The beachfront was extensive. You're able to pre book your spot on the beach (for a fee) which is very convenient. The snorkeling was very nice.
Some of the international dishes at the buffet were slightly hit and miss. But overall very good for the price.
