I did not appreciate that it felt like the spa staff and other staff members would come up to you to sell you a variety of services. I would prefer if there is a central location for this where I can go to get the information. In the Spa the prices were not fixed, the people there really try to get every cent out of you and they drive a hard bargain. For a hotel of this type I expected that the prices would be set by the Spa and not have to go through a bargaining process. Additionally to that. the prices that they start at are remarkably high! not even here in Germany do I pay so much for a massage or a pedicure. I felt cheated and therefore felt better not taking the service at all. Another thing I think they can improve is the quality of the food. I understand that cooking for so many is really hard. but maybe reducing the amount of options and focusing on good quality food would be better. At the beach, there is barely any beach to enjoy. its packed with chairs as far as the eye can see. We got into the water the first day and never really went back in since it was really dirty. In the first 5 minutes of being in we saw food waste floating around as well as plastics. I cannot recommend the beach here at all.

Food missed the punch. having more items in the buffet doesn't mean that you give people with different nationalities a lot of options. Being an indian origin, the variety of food lacked taste, flavour and punch. Thanks to an indian chef Pramod, he cooked special dishes for us on couple of occasions, which saved us from eating bland , meaty dishes.

The beach is not even close to being white even though it calls itself White Beach Hotel. I thought they built an artifical white beach, like Saadiyat Beach on Saadiyat island, Abu Dhabi. It surprises me that the company has not yet got itself into any legal problem for false/misleading advertisement. The disappointment was so overwhelming that I shortened my stay to one day and returned to my first hotel, where I know for sure I will get good beach. The location of the beach determined that the water quality is not great. I would not recommend it to solo travellers like me: most of the guests visit as families and it is very hectic. One of the manager I spoke to made me believe that I, as a first year PhD student in Economics who has had zero training in management, can do a (much)better job than him as a manager(so a huge thank to him for opening this new possibility). It was apparent to me that he was having trouble understanding the point I was making(please go and improve your English Mister), and when he got upset(because I rejected his proposed solution for a second time and insisted on checking out immediately with a full refund), he started mumbling to himself and to the egyptian employees next to him in Arabic. My instinct is that he was complaining to them about me, and he knows I don't understand Arabic(regardlless, that was NOT nice Mister, and you should know better). I feel very angry that I wasted almost an entire day of my precious vacation time. But I do appreciate the great patience Mr.Alaref had shown when he addressed my doubt one by one and tried to convince me to stay. I would have advised everyone to avoid this hotel, but Mr.Alaref helped me bring a closure to the terrible initial experience, and helped me regain faith in the management, which in turn helped me keep things fair for them, so I would only advise solo travellers against this hotel. Different travelers have indeed difference preferences.

More healthy food options

You could always get different alcoholic beverages, which is good. However, I doubt there is any alcohol in them. When we went to their WOW restaurant, we got a bottle of white wine and it was proper. Whatever you get at the bar or other restaurants tastes like a nonalcoholic version of the ordered beverage. Their taxi service is unbelievably expensive. The price from the airport to hotel was 25e. We used the service via Booking which was 8e and it was perfect.

Juice could have been fresh, only served fresh orange juice at breakfast. At the pool there were too many people trying to sell excursions and massages which was a bit off putting
