Clean - location near city center
Very hot not recommend at summer season at all - privacy there is people in front of the room can't take your clothes off special if you a woman

Good location and super clean in the room.
It was very convenient to go Citadel of Qaitbay and the library.
We dont have hot water for whole night.
The staff helped us turn on the light but it still change to cold water 5 mins later…..

AC was not working , fan was missing from the ceiling (room 14). I left on the same day.
Also elevator is not working and the hotel is on the 5th floor!!!!
This used to be Acropole hotel which had tons of bad reviews

Best location at affordable rate, very nearby to the Corniche and most of the attractions there. Go for it without any hesitation. The hotel is located on the 4th floor of the old building. The list service will lead you to it.

Good value for money. The location was good and I had a nice view of the city streets.
The room was quite simple, although I didn't mind. The hotel wasn't well advertised on the street - in fact, an employee of another hotel kindly helped me find this one.

At the time of writing this review, I stayed in a double room with a balcony for 750 EGP per night. The accommodation is ideally located in the heart of Corniche, Alexandria's beautiful coastal road. It is situated in a building right next to Saad Zaghloul Square, surrounded by restaurants, cafes, convenience stores, markets, and shopping complexes. The Corniche itself offers a priceless experience for leisurely strolls.
Located on the 4th floor, the hotel provides a balcony with stunning views of the Mediterranean Sea, bathed in warm sunlight. The room is spacious and comfortable, equipped with everything you might need, including a TV, fan, air conditioning (unused during winter), a table, and chairs. There’s very little to ask for beyond what is already provided. Hot water is readily available and works perfectly.
While it’s not a luxury hotel, one thing I can confidently say is that this is the best choice you can find for 750 EGP per night. If you are a long-term backpacker or planning to spend extended time in Alexandria, often called the "Bride of the Mediterranean," I highly recommend the Transit Hotel.
The staff is friendly and available 24/7. Although breakfast service is not provided, there’s a common hall with tables where you can freely relax. If you need anything, the thoughtful owner, Mohamed, and the staff will go out of their way to assist you. Mohamed is incredibly capable and kind.

(The price offered by this accommodation is extremely affordable. Considering this, any dissatisfaction might stem from visitors having high expectations, in which case it would be better to look for more expensive options. Personally, I am so satisfied with my stay that I would be willing to pay up to 1000 EGP for this place.)
