Our stay was okay overall, the room was average, and the sea view was not as good as expected based on the booking details.
That said, the staff were very friendly, polite, and helpful, which made the experience more pleasant. Their attitude and hospitality are definitely a strong point.
With better maintenance and improved water pressure, the place could be much better.

The AC was directly towards the bed , no adjustment to the thermostat , phone charging was card activated , so it’s either get that extremely cold air all night or wake up without charging my phone .
Ask for a wake-up call at 4am and no one cares to wake me up .

Lovely old-school hotel with a scenic location next to Stanley Bridge, very attentive staff and a nice restaurant right by the sea. The 1930s charm it exudes and its seafront view made the stay special.

We stayed for two nights at St. Giovanni in Alexandria. I don't think there could be a better location along the shore (corniche). The hotel is directly on the water, overlooking Stanley Bridge and bay.
From the moment we arrived, the entire staff was exceptionally friendly and accommodating, always serving with a smile. The room was clean and tidy and the sea-side window did a good job blocking bridge traffic noise. The breakfast was decent, and luckily the weather was great so having dinner or dessert at the terrace at night with the view was something to remember.
We really enjoyed our stay and certainly would stay there again if we happen to be in Alexandria in the future.

Easy and convenient check-in process
Rooms are near Stanley bridge which is a busy area day and night. Not recommended for light sleepers due to the noise of the cars.

The lady in the reception , the room service ( Farha ) and the valet they are all very kind and fast
