I forgot to sign for my coffee at the rooftop. Someone from the staff came knoking on my room door to get my signature although I had the "don't disturb" sign hanging on the door. I thought that was very unprofessional.

1- Christina, the guest relations, was exceptional. She greeted us warmly and guided us to our two Golden Junior Suite Direct Sea View rooms with genuine hospitality. Her smile alone was a sign that the stay would be pleasant. 2- The location of the hotel was fantastic, especially during this seasonal shift toward Alexandria’s cooler, romantic winter. 3- The bellman and porter were charming and added a touch of elegance to the arrival experience. 4- The receptionist, although appearing a bit sad, was helpful and completed the check-in process quickly. 5- The room environment, despite the furniture being slightly dated (as expected in a heritage style property), was cozy and full of character. 6- At the restaurant, Moémen, a hotel representative, handled a seating issue with professionalism and kindness, resolving it within minutes and restoring the welcoming tone.
1- The restaurant experience was disappointing. Despite its good location and decent furnishing, I waited nearly 30 minutes for a well-positioned table while others who arrived later were seated first, claiming prior reservations that weren’t true. 2- There was a shortage of basic tableware (cups, plates, mugs), and guests had to wait in line for coffee while staff rushed to clean and reuse items, even though the total number of guests was modest (around 50–70). 3- The kitchen staff were audibly arguing and shouting, which disrupted the ambiance despite the classical romantic music playing. 4- The most unpleasant moment was finding a fly on the fruit salad. I took a photo but chose not to share it here due to how disturbing it was.
