Everything. Staff were wonderful and hotel is absolutely beautiful with traditional lush french old school refinery. roses, fruit and tasty treats on arrival and fabulous view of the corniche and mediterranean from the gorgeous plush bar/restaurant in the roof. It’s an absolute treat. (just need to make Hot coffee)

Everything! What a beautiful hotel and fabulous staff! The rooms are so beautiful and spacious, beds the most comfortable ever, we had a view of the Mediterranean Sea. Breakfast was wonderful and the restaurant the same. The staff arranged transportation and great tours for us and everyone was so helpful when my husband needed to find some medication. Finally - the location couldn’t be better - walk out the door to walk the corniche or shop or site see or go to the most famous coffee houses. You made us fall in love with Alexandria!

The hotel has a breathtaking view. It is so historical and full of artistic pieces. The classical look gives it a touch of elegance. And the fact that rooms are named after popular figures; such as: the Greek poet Constantine Cafavy, gives it an elevated touch of depth and meaning.

Beautiful heritage building with great location. Rooms are comfortable and the property has genuine character.
On arrival night (Eid evening), my family including my young child was denied entry to the rooftop restaurant — citing “safety reasons” that apparently don’t apply before 7PM. This policy was never communicated at booking, confirmation, or check-in. Reception suggested alternatives around a packed city but never mentioned that their sister property Windsor Palace, 5 minutes away, would have accommodated us as in-house guests. I discovered this myself the next morning. A formal complaint received only a generic response. Separately, a team member contacted me via WhatsApp requesting a positive review — unaware of the incident until I directed her to my complaint messages.

An historic hotel with a lot of tradition. Good location on the Corniche; walking distance to the Bibliotheca. Excellent breakfast. Friendly staff; but sometimes challenged with small issues.
The property is in need of renovation. Overall leaves a “tired” impression; our window would not close correctly; heating was marginal.

One of the most beautiful properties we have stayed at. The sumptuous breakfast and the "light" dinner makes the hotel amazing value for money. Staff extremely friendly and helpful.

This property is the essence of charm, character, and hospitality. From the moment we arrived, they accommodated us with an early check in.

The location in the heart of Alexandria.
The hotel is in poor condition and needs urgent renovation. The elevator doors are fitted with springs to shut them down making it very difficult to get in or out especially with luggage.
The rooms are smelly and once the windows are open it becomes too noisy.
