The location is so good the rooms is Seaview spacious space but the building is kind of old

Wonderful
We really enjoyed the room and hotel for it's classic faded charm. We disagree with reviews stating it needs to be refurbished as we found the combination of price, location and historical charm perfect. The room was big and the view was great. We would definitely stay again. :)
Corridors always smelled of cigarettes but at least they used incense to deal with it a bit.

Location - view - clean
The noise of the cars and trafic is so loud - the entrance of the hotel is not clear had to ask for get their - the room has new paint that has smile stuck in your cloth - no towels - the lights is weak room need more light - one bed is OK the other one was terrible.

For 15 € a spotlessly clean room with a view at the sea in the very centre of Alexandria. What else can you ask for..
Really nothing. It is actually an island of cleanliness and comfort at the buzzing and somewhat wild corniche.

Great sea view. The young receptionist is really kind and welcoming.
Quite abandoned rooms, problems with the water in the toilet, and the middle aged receptionist (the uncle of the young man) is more than impolite.

It was very old hotel but not in a bad way, when you step through the door, you can feel the spirit of the place. Two cats greeted us at the reception; the hotel’s staff were furry and adorable. The hotel was clean, there was hot water in the shower, and the view was amazing, directly overlooking the Mediterranean Sea.

Hotel location
First, overbooking our rooms and lying about overbooking them and the owner didn't even apologize then they confessed that it was overbooked.
Next they treated us very badly with no respect or even being a little nice and whenever we asked something extra they always said no even for an order as simple as an extra chair in the room.
I didn't feel safe with the cleaning room staff as they are soooo weird and have no morals.
Lately, room cleanliness was disgusting and I couldn't even look at the sheets they put, there was cigarettes burns on the sheets and some sprayed yellow substance beside the head rest and lastly when I decided to take it off it was torn from the side.

My best friend and I spent a night at لوكاندة فؤاد, and it turned out to be the perfect escape. We’ve traveled together before, and neither of us cares for over-the-top luxury, so this place felt just right. The room was simple, but the balcony? That sea view made everything feel worth it.
The hotel itself has such a vintage vibe, like you’ve gone back in time. It wasn’t about having the fanciest amenities, but rather the experience and the charm of the place. The bed was comfortable enough, and for the price, it was exactly what we needed. If you’re looking for something affordable, with a nostalgic feel and a stunning view, I’d definitely recommend لوكاندة فؤاد.

the location
The bathroom was without lock, so as a girl wasn't safe to go to the external bathroom as I ddont have one in my room.. The room was terribly hot when I shut the balcony as the fan was not working and it's super not safe to stand in the balcony as there is a camera on your left so creepy.. The balconies are sticked together and separated with a short wall so technically the other room beside could have easily jumped to my room.. Super sacred the whole night and I sweating ? Really how much will it cost the owner to fix a fan!! Besides Booking said the price was 560 for a night I payed 710 ??! What the hell ..

I really enjoyed my stay at the Fouad Hotel. To be honest, I don't understand the negative reviews.
The hotel location was perfect, with an amazing sea view. Right in town. The hotel has a lot of old charm, and it even has the original lift. I had everything I needed in my room. Hany and Walid were so kind, nothing was too much trouble. Thank you so much.
This will be my Alexandria hotel whenever I visit.
