Wonderful
The staff were the MOST enjoyable part of the hotel. Therr was NOTHING they were not willing to help us with, with a smile. The breakfast was AMAZING.
The shower/bathroom. I didnt care for the lack of a shower door and a see-through bedrrom door. The room temperature was not able to be changed by us individually.

Very Good
Clean and comfortable room, efficient check-in and check-out, and a generally quiet night overall. Corridor noise was brief and did not affect rest. A reliable option for a short stay or business-related visit in Quito.
Excellent location next to Parque La Carolina, with easy access to restaurants, cafés, and main avenues. Very convenient and walkable area.

Disappointing
The staff were exceptional, the breakfast good and offered lots of variety. Location was next to a beautiful park but the building was located between 2 avenues with loud traffic, even in the middle of the night. We were on the 4th floor the first night and when we complained of street noise, the staff were very understanding and they moved us to the 9th floor but the noise became worse.
The rooms need serious upgrade. First, it needs sound-proofed windows to block out street noise which was horrible even in the middle of the night. And they need more insulation in the walls between the rooms, so a person taking a shower in a bathroom doesn't wake up occupants next door.

Location, value and staff
I've stayed many times and it appears they're recently starting to cut costs, no iron and iron board in the room, I had to request one. Fridge was turned off and got some food spoiled. Breakfast not as complete as before. Otherwise still a good value

Location and the staff. Breakfast buffet was very good.
The hotel uses spraying devices in the lobby and elevators and the smell is a lemon scent. It just smells like cleaner and is not pleasing to our senses.
Our room was 1205, nice size room. But a lot of open wasted space and no real desk to work at, just a round small table and one chair.
The noise from the street can be heard even with the windows closed and all the way up on the 12th floor.

The room was functional. Everything was clean. I kept very unusual hours while staying there, and the cleaning staff was very respectful of my do not disturb sign. I actually also like the location being so close to the Caroline Central Park. A great and easy location to walk daily. The front desk was always very helpful and friendly
Sounds silly, but a face or wash cloth in the bathroom for showers would be nice/appropriate. There was nothing wrong, just the room were a little spartan.

Everything. It was clean, comfortable and safe. Location was perfect (right next to the park where you can go for a run in the morning). The breakfast buffet was abundant. And most importantly, the staff were exceptionally accommodating, friendly and helpful. Everything was smooth and pleasant.

Disappointing
Clean and neat
Personnel that clean the rooms stole some property from some of the rooms and we were very disappointed with the situation. Besides at the time of booking was a little of misunderstanding and hotel management was not able to fix it instead they charged us more money for each room.

It was 17:00 and they didn’t have our rooms ready. Unacceptable for a hotel. After a 45 minute wait they told us our booked rooms are not available and that they will downgrade us.
