We stay two different times. The first time it seemed like the bed was really hard every time you moved and made the whole bed kind of bounce. Probably it was hard to sleep maybe cuz of the elevation. I'm not sure that was our first night in Quito,

Extremely nice hotel in the business district of downtown Quito. The room was very quiet, staff, accommodating, and the breakfast was sensational. I thought $28 was a high fee for breakfast, but the food was excellent with great pastries, fruits, fresh omelettes, ceviche, and many other nice touches making the price very worthwhile. Taxis and Ubers are extremely inexpensive, so location isn’t that important. The area felt perfectly safe, but it is not recommended to go out at dark on your own. Would definitely stay here again.

It is a modern 5-star hotel with excellent facilities, including a great gym, great rooms with automatic blinds, and good restaurants. The staff is well trained, very polite and helpful. I plan to stay at Swissotel whenever I travel to Quito.

Room needing lots of maintenance with several issues, from lighting to bathroom fixtures. The room booked was cheaper online than our negotiated corporate rate.

Our room has an extra baño with toilet & sink. Nice to have while someone else was in the shower/toilet combo room
Bed was definitely older, sunk & hard in the middle. Weekday maid service neglected to replenish washcloths, toilet paper & bottled water. Weekend maid service (Saturday) was excellent & replenished everything.

Location is excellent, close to many places to eat, budget and high end. Area was nice to walk around and close to other attractions. Hotel pool was lovely as well as the spa. Breakfast has a huge and delicious selection.

It's one of the best hotel buffet breakfasts I've ever eaten. There are so many options, including chocolate covered strawberries, an omelet and crepe station, hot Ecuadorian chocolate, fruits, homemade breads, ceviches, cold cuts, cheeses.
I like the room darkening shades and the towels were super soft and full.
The mattresses on the beds are probably the hardest I've ever slept on. Doesn't give an inch when you sit on it. Great selection of pillows

Breakfast was very diverse with high quality dishes. We also loved the pool and the beds were so cozy and nice to sleep on and everything else was AMAZING!!!!!!!!!

The friendliest staff ever. They were helpful and very sweet. I liked the various dining options, the discounts for guests, and the location of the hotel.
Furniture and style is a bit dated.
