We love staying at Mercure. The location is great, staff is friendly and very helpful and the heated pool is definitely our favorite.

Maybe the shower heads can have a deep cleaning so the water can run through it better.

The hotel was in a great location, within walking distance of the Artisanal Market, numerous cafes, mini markets, and restaurants. We made use of the gym, sauna and pool every night to help us relax after long days of exploring the city and going on tours. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready to answer questions or assist with anything we needed. Their on-site restaurant quickly became a favorite, where we had dinner most nights. The attentive staff served fresh, delicious food every time, and we even got to try some local beers recommended by one of them.
We enjoyed everything about the hotel and have nothing negative to say. Everything was excellent, and the staff was always ready to help and meet our needs. One day, we needed to reheat leftovers since there was no microwave in the room, so we asked the staff for assistance. They directed us to the restaurant kitchen, where they not only warmed our food but served it back to us on plates as if freshly prepared. That simple gesture made us feel truly appreciated!

Great gym. Big rooms. Wonderful staff.
The description did not match the room. It said bottle of water - there was none, there’s a place to fill water on the floor but nowhere to put it. The description said iPod dock - none. Said coffee machine - nope.
The room is dated and feels old and in dire need of renovation.
The room was very very noisy from the street.
Breakfast was ok but the sliced bread was obviously not fresh to the point it had mold on it.

The suite was spacious and comfortable, but what was included in the room was very disappointing. I think the highlight was the sauna and pool area; it was very relaxing to spend some time there.
The hotel’s location is also good, not very far from the historic city center and other tourist attractions.
Unfortunately, the suites don’t include a kitchen or even a microwave oven. I also had to call reception to request an iron and ironing board, and it took some time for them to be delivered. The view from our room was terrible as well. In addition, the area around the hotel felt very unsafe, and I do not recommend going outside in the evenings.

Really lovely hotel, the upgraded room was really comfortable. Lovely food in the restaurant, although it was very quiet. The breakfast was lovely and the staff were friendly.
It was hard to get someone to serve at the bar and there wasn't a fridge in the room but other than that it was a lovely hotel. There is no swimming pool though, it is just a couple of hot tubs which was a bit disappointing.

Location: interesting location, lot of restaurants around. Easy to walk to La Floresta and a longer but safe and interesting walk to the historical centre.
Room: mine was huge and comfortable. The furniture is a bit outdated, but clean. It was quiet at night, not a lot going on in the neighborhood.
Bed: big and firm mattress.
Breakfast: available from 4 am and it was pretty versatile throughout my stay, and tasty.
Gym: excellent gym for a hotel. A number of cardio machines, and a lot of weight lifting options.
Nothing negative really. Not a 10/10 because it's really a rarity to have that rate.

The hotel is in a great location…you can walk to many attractions in Quito. Room was immaculate and nicely decorated. Comfy bed. Wifi worked perfectly. Lovely shower. Breakfast buffet was amazing…so much selection. We definitely did NOT need lunch.
The pool and area was so beautiful…love the views.
Our room #209 was on the corner with traffic and road noise from two streets - definitely made it hard to sleep, even with ear plugs.

The location ..... at night I went outside and instantly felt scared. I told them I was leaving bcuz of it and they did not care. It is ok if you plan to stay in the building
