I feel the need to express our severe distress regarding a serious security breach that occurred during our stay at Le Park Hotel.
On December 31st at approximately 7:00 p.m., a staff member entered our room without permission. At the time, I was partially undressed and resting. The sudden entry was frightening and deeply unsettling. The staff member stated she was “bringing a hot water bottle.” We had not requested a hot water bottle, and the one she carried was lukewarm at best, which only heightened our concern and confusion. The situation did not feel credible, appropriate, or safe.
The explanation later offered by the front desk—that the staff member believed the room was unoccupied—was not reassuring. If anything, it raises further concern. Entering a guest room without permission- particularly in the early evening when guests are likely to be present, is unacceptable. The assumption that we might be attending the New Year’s Eve dinner downstairs does not justify the action. There was no reasonable explanation for an unrequested entry into our room at that hour, and the more we reflected on the incident, the more unsafe we felt.
As a result, I felt violated and no longer secure in the hotel. We do have heightened security concerns for personal reasons, which were explained at the time, yet it was clear that these concerns were not taken seriously. This was particularly disappointing, as we previously enjoyed staying at your hotel and trusted it to be a safe environment.
Later that evening, the manager invited us to join the New Year’s Eve dinner. While we understand this may have been intended as a gesture, it did not address—or come close to compensating for—a serious breach of privacy and safety. We had not planned to attend the event, it was nearly over, the food was no longer in acceptable condition, I do not drink alcohol, and my son is 10 years old. Most importantly, an invitation to a party does not remedy a security failure.

Location and cleanliness of the Hotel.
I stayed for 2 weeks. On several nights music was blasting til 2 pm from a party room they rent out.
They also did not provide me with a junior suite as they agreed to so I had to check in and out of a room which was very inconvenient because I had numerous commitments and obligations.

Great value for a 5-star hotel. Wonderful location right by the park. The staff was accommodating. The breakfast buffet was great. The only note is that they were slow to bring our requested items whenever asked for it (water, extra blankets, our luggage from storage).
