A cozy hotel located near a supermarket, a pharmacy, and some highly recommended restaurants.
Nothing.

It is a beautiful old house that feels really homey. There is a take one leave one book shelf and 24 hour coffee and tea available downstairs. They also helped me print something I needed for a meeting.
It was a little bit chilly at night as there is no central heating, so just be advised!

I loved the atmosphere at the hotel, it was very cosy and pleasant, with a delicious breakfast, a wonderfully relaxing garden and very attentive and helpful staff.
I promise I’ll be back.
Nothing, I loved everything.

Very Good
Clean rooms, friendly staff, delicious breakfast, safe place, stylish ( has a Spirit of the old latin house, very well maintained and decorated)
The bathroom was very tiny. It was literally the only small disadvantage we have noticed

Very nice hotel and clean room.
We asked for a vegetarian to-go lunch and got ham in our sandwich :( but we appreciate them making it for us at midnight

Quaint well kept hotel. Nice simple breakfasts. Great value!!
It was a bit chilly in the room. They did provide a small heater, but could have used a bigger one. Luckily they gave an extra blanket.

We only had one night at this hotel but we wish we had more time! The room is so cozy and the decorations are wonderful. We loved the exposed brick wall and wood furnishings. The shower was the best we had during our two-weeks in Ecuador!! It’s in a great location, within walking distance to several artsy breweries and restaurants. We had to leave for a flight at 3:30 in the morning and they even provided us a boxed breakfast to take on the flight. Next time we come to Quito, we are definitely staying here!
We wish we stayed longer!

The hotel is absolutely beautiful. It's an easy taxi ride to old Quito, but has the benefit of being in a quiet area. We felt safe the whole time we were there.
Although the staff is friendly, we did not find them to be as helpful as staff at other Ecuador hotels. They do their job but don't go beyond. For example, my husband lost his backpack the first day (which had his passport). It would have saved us a lot of panic if the gentleman at the front desk had told us he had it. We had engaged with him numerous times that afternoon already.

We loved staying in someplace indigenous to the country instead of typical name brand hotels you wake up in & could be anywhere in the world. No flavor …. All alike.
The staff was helpful & nice. The breakfast was great including made to order eggs plus fresh amazing local fruit & juice.
Location was was perfect. Well lit at night to go to a nearby restaurant for dinner. A very inexpensive Uber ride to & from anywhere in the old town.
That we couldn’t stay longer?

It had character. The rooms were interesting shapes, the place had sitting areas with books around. Everything was really clean and the staff were very friendly. Breakfast was good. Fairly well located for Metro (about 12 min walk) and for tram. Many nearby restaurants.
Construction noise during the day (stopped in the evening) & quiet at night.

Wonderful
The breakfasts were excellent - fresh fruit and juice, yogurt, great coffee, and many other items. The staff were very kind, knowledgeable and helpful, and spoke good English. The hotel was on a quiet street, and had attractive gardens and outdoor seating. The building was charming and had beautiful wooden structural details.
I thought the price was very reasonable.
As someone from Canada, I found the room a bit cold, but noticed that in general there is not indoor heating in Quito. The hot water in the shower sometimes took a long time to arrive, but when I asked about this at the reception area, by the time I arrived at my room the water was hot right away. The shower curtain wasn't quite effective enough, and the floor always flooded a bit, but otherwise the bathroom was fine.
