I was offered a suite instead of a normal room without additional payment. The hotel is in a very safe area. They have a very good gym. For breakfast you don't have a big choice but it is good. Good coffeee (what is very important for me) and very good orange juice (from fresh smashed oranges). Metro station is quite close.
The area is a bit deserted after 20.00. However few blocks further, near Plaza Foch there are some bars and probably night clubs, however I was not interested in night life.

The property was nice, great gym and amazing location to walk around there are food spot to try with no issue. The staff very educational and nice. They even upgrade our room because it was my boyfriend’s birthday.

We wanted a hotel in between the Historic District and La Carolina so it was perfectly located. The room was kept clean and comfortable with maid service every day. It had a very comfortable King bed and a big screen smart TV. It also had a sitting room with a table and nice chairs. It had a great shower with an overhead and hand held shower wand which is rare.
We choose this hotel for its location and that it had a bar and restaurant. Our first night there we decided to eat at the hotel restaurant. We ordered a couple of drinks that were fine. We ordered an appetizer which was okay but it didn't include what was on the menu. Then we ordered a filet mignon which was literally inedible. The manager who spoke some English finally agreed and offered us anything else on the menu and didn't charge us for the main entre. We had a chicken cutlet parm which was okay. So not a good start. We dared not try anything else so we can't say if anything else on the menu was good or bad. It's a beautiful dining room
Complementary breakfast was included with our stay which we took advantage of every morning. Eggs hard boiled and scrambled every day with cold cuts and some kind of bolon and wonderful bread, fruit, tiny croissants. So, pretty good .
But I like my coffee hot which I could not get either from the very nice coffee machine that made wonderful espresso nor the carafe, it was just warm. The eggs were also just warm at best. If that doesn't bother you than you will be happy with the breakfast provided.

Unfortunately, our stay was quite disappointing. The room was incredibly noisy, making it hard to relax. The shower was also a major issue - the water regulator didn't work properly, leaving us with a choice between scalding hot or freezing cold water. The beds were quite uncomfortable, with pillows that were a real letdown. To top it off, the breakfast was very poor. Not a great experience overall.
