Location was great
The restaurant experience was horrible. The food was awful and the servers was terrible I was order a some dish and I have to wait almost one hour to get the food.

I had a reduced mobility room with a great view to the swimming pool. One morning we had a spectacular. red sky sunrise. My bed was excellent. Breakfast was delicious and service very friendly. Fast lift was a plus. I needed to print some letters and the reception kindly did for me. So helpful to book a taxi. Swimming pool was great and they take care of you.
Well, unexpected restaurant service was unfriendly.... athey do not have ingredients offered in the Menu. My souo was double salted, no grissini parmiggiano and no smoked mushrooms. The Chimichurri of my octopus was absent. The cucuruchos dessert no figs and no traditoonal Ecuadorian sweet, especially no edible flowers. Nasty service, as from another planet, not Hotel Quito. They charge compulsory 10% tip above the cost.... not included and not informed. Tip is not compulsory in Ecuador.

The pool was dirty, breakfast buffet was same everyday, one of the treadmills was not working in gym. First room we stayed in was extremely noisy . Was moved to a second room where there was not” hot water, and the water was brown. Was moved again to a third room which was nice but bed was extremely hard.

While the property is a bit dated, it had wonderful amenities such as a very clean pool and gym area, daily room service with nice linens, wonderful buffet breakfast and a spectacular view from our balcony. I booked this place because I was uneasy with being out in Quito at night and this was a perfect hotel which had lots of room, a bar and space to relax after a day of traveling/touring. Would highly recommend from the price vs value point of view.
It would be good to have a little convenience store on property to purchase things like bottles of water, snacks etc. Though the hotel staff was wonderful about filling up our water bottles at the bar/breakfast buffet.

Great location, clean rooms, and safe environment. In general, the staff was helpful.
I wasn't given a choice for mountain or city view, and was given a city room which was noisy and impossible to get the room dark. I recommend asking the staff at check in which side your room is on.
Also, do not use the coffee machines in the lobby, they don't work and the hotel has no way of giving you your money back.

Fantastic amenities (heated pool, huge gym, hot tub, onsite restaurant, onsite barber/salon) very accessible location- walkable to La Carolina botanical gardens (1 mile) and many restaurants/coffee shops in the La Floresta area (leee than 0.5 miles), absolutely beautiful views from the poolside rooms and from the restaurant at breakfast!
Building definitely needs an update. Hot tub only open til 8:45pm.

We live in Quito and we stayed at Hotel Quito for my birthday last year. We like the hotel so much that we recently stayed 2 nights for my wife's birthday. We love the view from our room balcony and the hotel restaurant on the top floor has a very good breakfast buffet with even better views of the city and the valley to the east. We work out in the gym next to the pool, swim and lounge by the pool and we enjoy the steam and sauna rooms and jacuzzis. The hotel has become a tradition for us to celebrate our birthdays even though it's just 15 minutes from our apartment.
I really can't think of anything we didn't like.

At the weekends they offer deals to the public so the pool and surrounding areas were crowded. Lots of children in the pool. So wasn’t that quiet. We were lucky to get a lounger!
