The hotel had a nice atmosphere. The staff were very kind and helpful. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was nice. The location is also good and there are many restaurants within a short walk.
The room was a little cool and had no heat. The Internet was spotty and half the time I had no internet in my room. The TV also did not function because of WiFi issues. They charged me an extra $5 on my Booking bill for some sort of "commission." I thought that was odd.

Good location place is not bad.
Staff. No information about anything like where and when is breakfast, or your locked in until 8 unless you can wake the clerk. Went to the tour office for information. I opened no doors they were open and l hoped to book a couple tours. To my surprise the man turned and YELLED get out! Told staff no one ever apologized asked if I needed to book something. NOTHING. so I took his advice and left. Lots of hotels near here. I recommend the Baltico. Got a good deal better room and the staff is awesome ? I would steer clear of hotel David. Way too many nice hotels with happy helpful staff. Quito is great and my tours are booked.

The location is within walking distance to many points of interest. The lobby is very attractive and my room was clean.
The temperature in the room got very chilly at night. A space heater would have been nice. There was only one large towel and one small towel provided for the 4-night stay and the shower stall was missing one panel of the enclosure. None of the employees at the hotel spoke English.

Don’t use their shuttle service. The vehicles are very old, dirty and in bad mechanical condition.
All lights on the dashboard were lit up.
They took us to the airport for departure flight and the exhaust fumes were so bad inside the vehicle that by the time we made it to the airport we had horrible headaches and were vomiting.
Use the yellow taxis!

Very helpful staff, 3 minutes walk to the Metro, near many restaurants... It wasn't exactally Old Town but one easy metro stop away. Fantastic location.
Absolutely no complaints. The room was a little small, but the size was clearly shown before I reserved it.

It's a well-located and spacious place with many rooms. Clean and well-maintained. I was greateful a concierge helped with heavy luggage otherwise those stairs would kill my back. Great service.
I wish the floor in a room was fixed. Pretty much every wood tile was squeaky.

Staff was wonderful, friendly and super helpful, the room was clean, no complaints there, the only complaint is about the size of the room, it was extremely small and there was no closet, not even a shelf (my friend's room had a shelf and a larger bathroom), I lived out of my suitcase for those 4 days, other than that I enjoyed the stay and appreciated the breakfast. Good location, 2 minutes from Metro entrance Parque Alameda. There is also a TIA supermarket and a Chinese restaurant 2 min from the hotel.
I would have appreciated a room a littler larger, no other complaints.

I was happy with the friendly and helpful staff, the location and easy access to the Metro. The room was very small and did not have a closet so I lived completely out of my suitcase. However the price was more than reasonable. I would stay at Hotel David again for a short stay.

Clean, located near a park, restaurants, Basilica and Metro. Decent breakfast included in the price. Great place to get tours.
So many stairs! It’s quite the workout. Breakfast isn’t served until after 8am and it’s impossible to get a second cup of coffee.
