Wonderful
We loved the charming feeling and the authentic decor of the hotel. The rooftop breakfast room is an absolute gem. The location is excellent, minutes to the historic downtown. The room was super spacious and well decorated.
We missed a night table for one of our beds and had very little space for hanging clothes.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, excellent breakfast (although vegetarian) which changed every day, the day venture they arranged to Otavalo-USD 150 was good value for money with great driver,and the great view of the city! Thank you Yale, Joel and Henry!!!
We must say that while our room was excellent, being on the top floor meant we had to battle the altitude dizziness whenever we climbed up to our room. But coca tea helped ?

Lovely old colonial building, beautiful view from the rooftop, nice breakfasts, and friendly, helpful staff. Just a short walk to the highlights of Old Town.

The location was great…walking distance to the historic centre. The staff were excellent and so incredibly helpful. Fernando was available to pick us up at the airport and take us back three days later…a great convenience. The included breakfast was wholesome and delicious. We loved the funky decorating and historic nature of the building. We had to check out early on our last day so a bagged breakfast was provided. A nice touch! Umbrellas are available for guests. ?
There is no elevator so if you have trouble with stairs, this may not be the place for you. There is no warm water in the bathroom sink - only cold. As with all old buildings, there are creaks and noises.

Attitude and friendliness of staff. Nice and well thought facilities with local culture's attributes. Nice view from rooftop on Quito and goddess statue.
Nothing really come to mind. Maybe would be good to have dining possibility in hotel but staff is very helpful on directing to good nearby places.

It was in a very good location, close to Plaza Grande. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, giving us advice about what to see, how to get there and places to eat. The breakfast was delicious. It was comfortable, clean and very good value for the money.
The heating in the room could have been a little better. They did provide a portable heater. The weather outside was chilly and damp.

The host, Franco! He got up early to help us on days that we had early flights or tours scheduled. The grounds are beautiful and our suite (Verde), was immaculate! Comfortable beds, nice bath robes and a fridge and microwave… what more could you ask for? We purchased some of the art on display and Franco helped us with packing materials. He also provided several recommendations for dining. Can’t forget the coffee…Franco makes the *best* coffee drinks to order!

The staff is so friendly and helpful in arranging transport from the airport as well as calling taxis when needed. The room is very clean and has all the amenities needed. The beds are comfortable as well with plenty of pillows. The location is prime and walkable to all the historic downtown attractions.

Super convenient central location, Yale (the manager) and the whole stuff are very nice and helpful. Amazing breakfast fresh individually prepared and beautifully served when you come. Breakfast room is on the roof top with a gorgeous view.
