We didn’t have the breakfast package. The location was great for our time there. Easy to walk to sites we wanted to see and we had great food options within walking distance.
It would have been nice to have the kettle as advertised in the room description but the pan to heat water for the coffee worked.

Thank you for such a wonderful stay! Paulina and her crew made us feel like family. Walking distance to anything in the historic center and literally next door to fabulous pizza restaurants and live music at La Oficina. We will return!

The host Paulina was so accommodating for us as we arrived late. We ended up booking another night as we had a stopover in Quito. It’s perfect for a comfortable stay! The beds are so nice! Breakfast was great too. Perfect location to historic centre

It is very calm and spacious with a private bath in a spectacular location for exploring old town Quito. We previously stayed at The Secret Garden but the noise, shared bathrooms & spaces gets old really quickly. Paulina is a fantastic host who looks after her guests and makes a lovely breakfast.

What a find. I stayed 2 nights at a “social” hostel and needed a reprieve. Casa Vista Hermosa was perfect find. I should have stayed here the entire time I was in Quito. The location overlooks the city and is within 15 to 20 walk to the “old town” attractions. There is even a rustic gym about 100 meters with all the necessary weights to get a good workout in. The proprietor, Paulina, was an excellent and friendly hostess. My private room included a kitchen and private restroom. It had its own outdoor entrance from a secluded patio. The complimentary breakfast was made by Paulina was excellent and served in her dining room. The shower had hot water with towel and soap provided. Thank you Paulina for making my last day in Quito an exceptional one.

I loved everything about the guesthouse. From the architecture, to the beautiful view over the city of Quito, to the hospitality and everything you want in a guesthouse. It more than exceeded my needs.

Great location to stay to access el Centro historic of Quito. Big rooms and great value.
The bed was pretty hard and the whole building would shake when a big truck or bus came by. It was hard to find. It was pretty noisy at night, but that’s probably anywhere in Quito.

The location is great for exploring the city, you can walk to most touristy places. The view is also gorgeous in the evening. Restaurants and cafe nearby. The place itself is simple, but has all you need. The host is very friendly and helpful. This is a great homebase for exploring he city.
It gets a bit cold in the evening, while the low ceiling between rooms can result in quite a few headbumps if you are taller. It is very easy to lock yourself out, so have the key with you at all times.

Host was great Style of the accommodation was too our taste. Nothing flash, fairly rustic, but definitely good value for money.
Bathroom was decent and clean and only for our use, (and had hot water) but had to be accessed from outside the apartment. Nothing that can be done about it, but in the night it's not as good as an en suite!

Nice and helpful lady staying with a family while running the place, if I’m not mistaken. She let us checked out late as well. There’s kitchen in the room with couches. Spacious room and there’s a shared communal balcony with amazing view of sunset as well as the historical buildings. Close to eateries, mini markets and historical centre. Great value. Wanted to rebook but they were full.
The hot shower wasn’t very stable and it wasn’t clear in the description whether it was a private bathroom. But since our room was just right next to the bathroom, it was alright for us. Couldnt connect to wifi in our unit but it's decent if you sit at the communal area.

Wonderful
The room was way better than what we were expecting! the room is like a small 1 bedroom apartment. We had a small kitchen and a nice bathroom with HOT water! we had a pleasant stay and found the staff to be friendly and accommodating.
While the initial impression was positive, we encountered some cleanliness issues in our room and noticed areas that seemed neglected in terms of maintenance.
