The hostel is in a great location if you like to party, the staff are generally pleasant and helpful, there's a pool table. Wifi works (most of the time).
We stayed in two of the private rooms during our stay, both had mold and an unpleasant odour. The second room we stayed in had a leaky toilet so the bathroom also stank and was never dry.

There was no breakfast like it said, the fridge died so anything I put in there got bad, the showers did not have any heat mostly.

The facilities were decent, the staff was very nice and kind. Having a place to secure your belongings was nice as well.
The room I stayed in is located at the very front of the house as soon as you enter; just before the reception desk. Thus it is very noisy from people in the kitchen, the common areas and entering and leaving the facility, and drunks yelling/fighting on the street.
But the most unbearable thing is the LOUD, ANNOYING, INCESSANTLY barking dog directly at the window. Only a thin wall (with an open window) separates you from the dog. The dog barks All. Night. Long (pretty much). I stayed 4 nights, and maybe slept for 4 hours at most in one night. The last night I literally didn't sleep at all.
I think the property where the dog is, is somehow related to the hostel. There is a connecting door off of the kitchen that people from that property use to come into the hostel.
And also if you are a non-smoker, the smoke from the common area comes in because the room faces onto the kitchen/common area. The room windows are open because they are the only source of ventilation and fresh air.

It’s comfortable, the hotel employees are really kind and helpful. You could get into or leave the hotel at any time you need.

Very Good
We were very surprised by how much value we felt like we got out of the room itself. Large bathroom, comfortable hot shower, HUGE room with pleasant windows (that could have easily fit two more people in the cubicle-style bunk beds), a couch and a great balcony, all at a very competitive price. The hostel also features large common areas, a very handy (locked) luggage storage and is generally quiet... Our only surprise was an all-day marching band practice right next to our room on a weekend morning/afternoon, so keep some earplugs handy just in case! Great place to stay with an excellent location in general, though.
While the outdoor common areas were nice, smoking is permitted and (in our case) was very prevalent. Also, the kitchen facilities are very small, a bit unclean (the refrigerator definitely needed a deep clean) and somewhat ill-equipped for making your own meals. There is a wealth of great dining options in the area, however, so it may well be worth using the savings on your accommodation to eat out!

The staff were very friendly and professional
I booked a private room and it didn't exactly match the photos on booking.com. it was a small dated space, dark lighting with an awkward bathroom which floods when you shower. For the price, you get what you pay for, I booked the room as a place to rest for a few hours before leaving on a trip to the Amazon. It served its purpose for me

good area if you look for night life .
hostel have seen better days apparently . 2 diffrent music playing same time. the gate to come in and out of hostel is truly pain IA. the hostel needs a good clean up . they assume to not use much water and blabla but actualy watter leackes freely in the toilets. its just and old building which needs maintenance,

It's a cute hostel with a nice setup/courtyard and pleasant comfortable dorm beds with curtains. Staff were helpful and kind. Great location to explore the nightlife on a weekend as it's so close you can walk everywhere and there's plenty of decent places nearby

The vibe of the hostel was super friendly and cozy and i liked being around with the friendly personel and the other travellers.The shower had a good presure and pleasantly warm water and the beds in the shared room have a good privacy . My bed and the room was acceptably clean and whatever you need you could find it in the kitchen. It is also close to good vegeterian and indian restaurants and several cafes. all in all, It was way better than what i expeccted for the price.
It is a typical thingn in Quito that it is better not to hang out alone late at night and preferably take a taxi to the door of the hostel.

Everything. Comfy, private beds with personal lights and chargers. Secure lockers, friendly staff, good kitchen, pool table.
Would be good to have a door release switch on the inside instead of having to call the staff to let us out

Good location, good Wifi, bed was comfortable, kitchen had many appliances, nice common area to stay in sofas.
On the first day when I arrived there was no hot water in the shower. There should be a more rigorous control of the noise during the night, during 1 of the nights some people were playing music and talking very loud until about 3-4 AM.
