Very Good
The location was perfect. It was just a short walk down the street to one of the main squares in Quito. There were also a few small shops, cafes, and restaurants nearby for food. The apartment had a key card entry to the complex, a guard at the complex entrance, and a separate key for the apartment, so we felt safe and secure during our stay. The apartment was spacious with 2 bedrooms and had comfortable furniture. It was really nice to have a washer and dryer as we were in-between 2 tours and needed to do our laundry before departing on the second tour. The owner communicated well and we appreciated the large bottle of water that she left for us.
There were a few annoyances that kept us from giving this apartment a higher score. First the shower head did not attach to the wall (the device to hold it to the wall appeared broken), so you had to hold it in your hand to take a shower. This was pretty awkward when washing your hair. Second, the apartment advertised the availably of a coffee maker, but we only found a kettle for boiling water. Third, the apartment advertised an iron, but I could only locate the ironing board and not the iron.
