Disappointing
Newly renovated (maybe 5 years).older building. Location great being in center of main drag. However, our room facing the mangrove evidently is a dumping ground probably for Grey water as a minimum. Couldn't really use the balcony because of the smell. Staff was overall good, but turned me really off with the 10:00 AM.
Checkout. Having a scheduled afternoon ferry ride, it made it difficult. The recepcionist would not budge for even an hour or a few minutes..."no..10:00". This was not expected of a 3-4 star hotel. I understand the cleaning duties, but they would not make a little consideration. So, I hate to rate this place of overall BAD because of that incidence and the foul smelling balcony.

Very Good
Breakfast, staff and location was great. The rooms upstairs looked great too. Walking distance to restaurants, tour guides, museums, the piers and launching platforms.
Our only problem was that there was no elevator and my wife has mobility issues. We were about to find other accommodations when we were offered a room on the ground floor generally reserved for guides, very small, dark, no view, but no stairs to climb. We accepted the room at a very slightly reduced rate. There was no way to determine ahead of time that the hotel had no elevator or lift.

Wonderful
Great location, clean, comfortable and courteous staff. It's a central location right on the Charles Darwin Ave with lots of restaurants and shops a few minutes away. Five minutes walk to the maritime port.
Highly recommended!
A small fridge in each room will make the hotel a perfect place for clients.

Beds were comfortable. Room was a comfortable temperature. Downstairs bathroom was nice. Staff was great.

It’s a really great location
It advertises sea views - but this isn’t the case for most rooms - those that do have it it’s more like from a shared balcony. I was overlooking a large electric pylon, but specifically requested a sea view. WiFi didn’t work in my room.

Great location and a little balcony with mangrove and seaview. Staff in the lobby 24h
No internet in the room despite what it is said, only available in the lobby. Can be noisy with the bars and club around but usually stops around 23:00.

Poor
Not much. The view is nice and the AC can dry your clothes.
As a solo traveller for one night, i was given a top (3rd) floor ( no elevator ) 6 bed (!!!) room with 3 suitcases and 2 bags. No welcome pack, not even a single bottle of fresh water, which was even included in b&b types of rooms in lower range accomodation. Staff was reluctant to give room, statinf hotel is full, it was not true at all, internet was not working at all. No hairdryer or any additional equipment in the room except of AC and Tv. As i was leaving in the morning, breakfast would have been included, but did not have the chance to eat it, no food bag was given. Reception was not even aware the price of the booKing on checkout. As i was expecting a higher class of service, i am super disappointed for the booking and the service. As we received severe raining in the night 10cm of water was in hallway, no staff around at all. I am an experienced traveller, never had such a bad service from a 3star hotel.
