I loved the apartment, pretty big, clean, updated, with an amazing view to the sea throughout the living/bedroom. Also, i was great communication with the host.
The fact that it's in a building right next to the boardwalk where there are lots of restaurants and clubs playing music until after 3:00 AM (this was a Saturday), I could hear the music, noise from people. Also, the air conditioning was not working properly so made it uncomfortable for me.

This is an excellent and safe location about 5 minutes from the airport. There are several restaurants to choose form and a convenience store just outside of the building.
The view is on the back side of the building... not much to see there.

Friendly concierge. easy check in.
The furniture and linens were a bit old and worn. Nevertheless, the suite is great, location wonderful and the host, marvelous!! We would definitely recommend and stay here again. There was some noise from work being done on another floor and Lorena was very apologetic and even gave us a gift card for some cakes at a nearby coffee shop. Over all a great place to stay, highly recommended.

The area is great for walking during the day or evening. It is close to many restaurants (nice, but expensive for Ecuador), scenic areas, and the Malecon and Las Penas areas. The apartment had a comfortable living area, a spacious room with lots of closet space, and a nice bathroom. The rooftop pool was great for our two year old.
Our only complaint was that the room only had a transparent curtain. We are light sleepers and this impacted our sleep since the room is right across from some very well-lit hills, making our room very light the whole night.

so much noise coming in from the road out side what I understand is pretty unavoidable. But when your nursing a sore head from the night before drinking it can be painful

It’s an apt complex so someone meets you to hand over the keys and collect payment. That process was smooth but requires coordination with owner. Apartment was spacious and well maintained. It has all you need for a short stay. Location on the Malecon is great and lots of restaurants downstairs and down the riverfront. Owner is very responsive! Central AC is powerful, water pressure is good and showers get hot.
