Exceptional
We were extremely pleased with the courtesy of the welcome to the facility. The lady whom met us went out of her way to help us communicate our intentions regarding our booking (we speak very little Espaol).
We regret we couldn't have met the entire team; owners, etc... These people exceeded all of our expectations and we'd certainly recommend.

Clean, comfy beds, very adequate kitchenette, although we didn't use. Residential neighborhood, so quiet, small park just a few steps away.

Staff attentive. Very helpful. Late entry was not a problem.
Not familiar with the local traditions and that cash is king in Ecuador. No mention of a markup of 5% if paying by credit card but I will acknowledge ignorance in not knowing local customs.
