This hotel is super charming and in a great location for exploring Cuenca. The staff was extremely helpful, our rooms were cleaned daily and the free breakfast was delicious.
The hotel is obviously old so it comes with its own quirks. The main thing we didn’t like were the beds. They were really squeaky and not super comfortable. They also don’t offer many if any rooms with a king bed which is not ideal for couples.

The location was amazing, it’s walkable to everything and I loved the charm and the layout, it was so quiet in our room and we couldn’t hear any street noise, because we were tucked behind the courtyard, it was lovely. The onsite bar/restaurant was also very convenient, and beautiful too! The staff was amazing and SO helpful, truly some of the best hospitality we’ve ever experienced.
The room was almost too quiet! We wish we’d brought our little portable fan for some ambient noise but we’d rather it be too quiet than too loud like some of our friends complained about who were staying at other hotels so honestly all in all no complaints!

The location is excellent. The hotel was built in the 1880's and has a unique charm of the area. The owner was extremely helpful and made our stay very pleasant. Beds were comfortable and heaters maybe available upon request.

I book my visit one month of anticipation. When i arrived at the hotel my room wasn’t available for me because the staff ‘thought’ by themself that I did not confirmed my book because I didn’t answer the phone. The phone I do not answer because I was traveling and haven’t got signal on my phone!! They arranged a stay at another hotel that was not worth the price

The courtesy of the staff, the front desk person was so wonderful. They went out of their way. We had to leave for the airport at 4 am and they provided us with coffee and a packed breakfast we could eat along the way since it was so early that we were checking out!

Small old-style hotel with 3 patios offering a fairly simple comfort (no heating in the rooms but there is a satellite TV, free wifi throughout the hotel and a good bathroom). Excellent breakfast (buffet-style on weekends but you can ask whatever you like on other days as well). Staff is very nice and welcoming.
Don't expect the airport shuttle service. They didn't provide it despite my request. But it is of no importance at all: the airport is located virtually in the city and it takes a short 3$ ride with a taxi to get to the hotel.
A gas heater would be welcome for breakfast in Patio 1. Fairly cold these days (9-10°C).

I spent 4 nights at Hotel Inca Real with my mother, the hotel exceeded our expectations. The different patios were so beautiful and each adopted a different mood at different times of the day. The room was spacious and comfortable, the bathroom had the necessary amenities, the hotel was quiet and peaceful, the staff was discreet and very helpful. The location is excellent.
The wifi connection was an issue in the room. We could never make phone calls from the room and had to go outside, in the corridor around the patio- this unfortunately was quite uncomfortable. I wish the staff at the counter sometimes had more recommendations to give, like specific restaurants etc.
