Good location, near the tram line and many bus stops. The hotel is clean, though basic.
Noisy—the bathroom vent is to the inside hallway, beside the talking elevator, and an open hole to floors above and below. The hard surfaces bounce the sound. No breakfast until 8am, or 8:30a Never have change at the desk —I stopped having breakfast because paying got to be a hassle Alarm (fire?) goes off at least once a day, accidentally. It doesn’t last long, usually, but it can be 3-4 times a day. Three Power outages while I was here. Construction work was LOUD and started at 7am 6 days a week. They only cleaned the room 5 out of 6 days.

The staff was always upbeat and responsive. The room size was good and the bed comfortable. The hotel is located near LOTS of shopping, a tram stop and the bus terminal. It's easy to get a taxi as well. The price is very reasonable and I like that you can get breakfast and lunch at the hotel for a reasonable price.
You have to get a password for each four hours of internet use, which is annoying. You have to ask for your room to be cleaned, they don't automatically clean it daily. It's a noisy place because of the layout of the hotel--sound really bounced off all the hard surfaces and windows and vents are often inside the building. Also, they were doing construction the entire week I was here. The banging started at 7am each day and promptly stopped at 9am. The banging didn't bother me nearly as much as the loud music of the workers.

Exceptional
The facilities are very nice, but for me it always comes down to the staff. I found the staff to be very attentive, and seemed happy to help when ever I asked. The breakfast and coffee ☕️ was very good. Warm shower and nice beds with a friendly staff made my stay very enjoyable.
Honestly, I can't think of anything that I didn't like. The only thing is Equador is having some rolling blackouts with the electricity temporarily. The hotel had a generator that keep most things rolling as normal.

The breakfast was solid? The hotel is very nice and a great value. The staff was very attentive.
