The room textiles ( curtains, carpets etc) looked old and worn. There were leaks in the central courtyards, with a lot of water accumulation

The breakfast was ok, not great. Coffee was very strong the first few days. And eggs, while done well, were cold twice.
The staff was great and helped as much as they could…. Even helping with our luggage up and down from the third floor!

The Best Location. Easy to walk everywhere I want to go. Many cafes and restaurants are nearby. Even though my flight was very early in the morning, the staff helped me get the taxi.
I could not find any point in a bad or worse situation. The local restaurant, Leon, is only a few buildings away and is very nice.

The hotel is right off the historic center making it a wonderful location to base yourself at while in Cuenca. The building is charming and beautiful, and the staff are friendly and helpful. Someone was always at the front desk no matter the hour and were able to answer any of our questions. Our room was spacious, clean and bright. The only thing to note is there is no elevator (that we saw) so be ready for some stairs. We didn't find it a problem but for any travelers with mobility or health issues this may be a consideration when booking.

Great historic hotel 2 blocks from Parque Calderón. Spacious and cosy room. Staff helpful arranging tours and transportation. Breakfast included and was good.

Towels in the room were thin and cheap in my opinion …. Had issues with power plugs but staff moved things around to accommodate.

Pristine and welcoming, the staff were very professional and kind with attention to detail (for example they prepared us breakfast to go because we had an early morning flight).
The breakfast was a traditional Ecuadorian and flexible to our needs, really enjoyed the stay there.

Great location great building architecture
The building is not well maintained, our room was extremely noisy (street noise and poor phonic insulation), poor quality of services.
