Fair
Location and surroundings
We stay in the suite, it was really in and shaoe, wood floring was in and shape, the room had a kitchen type smell, the bathroom was in bad shape
It was so bad that we pay for two night and decided that was best to not stay the second night even if we didn’t have the option for reimburse. The staff didn’t bother asking why we leave early

Incredibly beautiful location, special, totally unique property, great activities, good choice of restaurants, very kind staff. Having the option to have a fire lit in the fireplace made it even more cozy and welcoming.
It was all good!

This is a MUST stay if you are going to Cuenca. Please stay there one night at least. They have an amazing selection of breakfast foods and the the staff is beyond accommodating
One thing I will say is that it gets really dark at night. They tune off all light which makes it harder to go to Cuenca at night ( it’s 30 minute drive ) and then return.

Very Good
The property is very nice and cozy
And the views are very beautiful
The staff needs to be nicer
The room (had a jacuzzi) however was in a top floor, no view, and had a lot of water leaks on the roof. Also the room due to the wind felt like trembling and makes us dizzy. We have stayed here before and was much better than this time.

Very Good
The location, the facilities of the hotel, the food in the restaurant, the recreational activities, and the additional restaurants are spectacular. It is an excellent place to visit the amazing El Cajas natural reserve.
The sound insulation between rooms is poor, and the staff's help during check-out was inadequate. Nobody helped us with the luggage.

Disappointing
The staff was very pleasant and attentive. The check-in was easy. Overall, Dos Chorreras is an exceptionally-groomed center of events at the foot of Cajas National Park, with several installations that are pleasant for a stop on your trip to/from Cuenca.
The breakfast was very good. The rooms and facilities were very clean and the bathrooms were lovely. They accepted our medium-sized dog without issue ($25/night). They even provided a bowl for food and water and a bed mat.
The room we were given the first night, number 13, was next to a service room in a small section of three rooms above the main store and breakfast buffet space. The floors vibrated all day with the kitchen ventilation, and there was a constant buzzing sound until 9:30pm. The view is of the roof of the main lodge. We asked for a change to another room, which the staff kindly facilitated.
We were moved across the hall to number 15, which was more spacious and did not vibrate, but had the same view of the roof of the main lodge. It was better, but the walls of these rooms are thin and do not have insulation so everything can be heard from the room next door. The chimneys are nice to have in theory, but lighting a fire in our room where there are no windows to open did not appeal to us.
Overall, rooms 13, 14, and 15 should not be offered at the high price we paid (approximately $200/night plus $25/night for our dog). We felt we were staying at a truck stop, in a makeshift room above the store and next to the restaurant. We walked through the store and up a flight of stairs to get to our room, which was also not comfortable.
Dos Chorreras will continue to be our stop along the road to Cuenca, but I will never stay there again. It feels overly commercial and provides no privacy or relaxation.

Beautiful Gem in this country of Ecuador, the staff were lovely and always very helpful and polite.
The space was gorgeous with all the beautiful decor & rustic aesthetics.
i stayed in cabin 18 and it had such an amazing view, heated floors were definitely much appreciated! and overall the quality of everything in there was top tier!
Water pressure was low when trying to have a hot shower.
There is a bit of street and traffic noise since this cabin was close to the main road.
Besides that, this place is wonderful.

The location is amazing
The staff is not gentle at all, they didn´t even look at us when we entered the hotel, didn´t allow us to watch the restaurant because we were not eating at that moment!

Good
It was not enough hot water to take a bat, just for a quick shower. It was very cold outside. We used all the firewood at night, and by the morning it was cold in our suite
