Beautifully renovated historic building with gracious service. Terrific location within a lovely well maintained unesco world heritage city.
Restaurant might provide more choices.

I can't praise the Parc Royal more thoroughly. Everything about the hotel is top notch. The is attentive, efficient and discreet. Excellent English too. The room/suite was exceptionally comfortable. The breakfast was abundant, of excellent quality and beautifully presented. The location was a few minutes from the central plaza, the Parque Calderon. But the truly unique aspect of the hotel is the design vision. It is arranged in and around beautifully restored atrium of an historic building. The color scheme is based on the blue and white porcelain that is a special production of the region. Truly elegant.
There was nothing I did not like. Truly, everything about the Parc Royal is top-notch.

The hotel is elegant and close to everything. We stayed for a week and felt comfortable and pampered with small and big details. Special kudos to the staff, they are the best. Arturo, Frank and all the personnel at the reception were warm and helpful. Thank you all!

We stayed at Parc Royal Suites as part of a road trip through Ecuador, and it exceeded expectations.
The hotel delivers true Western five star standards.
Fine hotelry with service that feels natural, not forced.
From the first day to the last, the service was consistent.
Professional. Attentive. Quietly precise.
Simple things mattered. A genuine good morning. A real sense of care.
I have traveled my whole life and know the difference between premium and something pretending to be premium.
This hotel is the real thing.
What stood out most was the attention to detail.
On the morning of our departure, they surprised me with a handwritten card, a thoughtful note, and cupcakes ahead of my birthday.
No announcement.
No show.
Just care.
That moment says everything about how this hotel operates.
Cuenca itself is a beautiful city, and staying here made the experience even better.
If you value service, consistency, and real hospitality, this hotel is worth it.

Beautiful hotel, staff were amazing going above and beyond for every request. The rooms are large with kitchens and eating and seating areas.
My only negative is that the property is currently under renovation of its 2nd floor which was loud above my head as all the rooms that are open are on the 1sr floor. Workers were there 8-6 M-Sat.

This was our 2nd stay at Gran Colombia Suites, the 1st for 2 weeks and the 2nd for 4 weeks. Each time we stayed in the Deluxe Family Suite #15. We highly recommend this suite, which provides plenty of room to stretch out, is internal with reduced street noise, and provides cross ventilation from open windows due to the L-shape. There is a nice view of the Old Cathedral domes from the large bedroom. Great location and excellent staff. Safe and walking distance to all El Centro. We’ll be back!
Wi Fi can be a bit unpredictable if using more than 3 devices simultaneously, but good overall.
