Room was spacious and comfortable. All staff very helpful and professional ! Breakfast great each morning and dinner menu and drinks very reasonable and good food. Wait staff wonderful!

Bed was comfortable and I’m pretty picky about hotel beds. Room was spacious, bathroom very nice, and room had a mini frig. Free breakfast was wonderful!
All staff were helpful and courteous. Small grocery store steps away from hotel and only 1 -2 blocks from Central Park.
Would be nice to have a fan in the room as there is no air conditioning.

All the staff were professional and pleasant. They seemed to respond to my questions well, and were supportive.
All in all, the El Dorado was a fine hotel. The main things that I didn't like were overall noise level, the uneven quality of my mattress, and the shower water pressure.
To elaborate on the main concern, the noise: I sympathize with the hotel that the outside street construction, and neighboring business construction were likely out of their control, but it was extreme, as well as perplexing. Extreme, in the sense that the hotel's thin walls were unable to dispel it, and perplexing that it occurred through much of the night. I was only their two nights, and could only get about two hours sleep per night, because of it. As I said, it was partly the city's and neighboring business' fault, but the hotel did not seem equipped to deal with it. Internally, noise from hallway doors was a bit distracting.

The bed and pillows were nice. We were lucky to have a room that was not on the street. Otherwise it would have been noisy.
The gym was terrible and it’s the reason why I chose this hotel. Broken equipment, no ventilation and very limited equipment. Also the carpeting in the hallways is awful, dirty and worn out.

The Wi-Fi was great in the except that you had to reconnect each time upon returning to the room. The breakfast was okay. The dining room was suitable for the first night.

Rooms and facilities are comfortable, clean and well maintained.

The location in easy walk of the central town and all its restaurants and buildings were great. There is also a store a few doors down for anything grocery or trip related.
No in-room safe for valuables. The door to the refrigerator wouldn't stay closed very well to keep things cold.

Excellent location in the historic district, walkable to the beautiful historic center of town and lots of restaurants and shops. There is a small grocery almost next door. The neighborhood felt very safe, with lots of activity. They staff was very helpful and there was always someone there who was an English speaker. The breakfast was lovely, however, no gluten free breads and I would have like a little more variety of protein. It is probably perfect for most people. The room and bathroom were spacious by Ecuador standards, very clean, modern furnishings.
