This is an exceptionally beautiful space, with massive natural light, lovely decor, plants, dogs, and all the touches and comforts that make a home a home. Super comfortable bed, delightful little kitchen. Wonderful host family.

Very Good
Host was welcoming and friendly. Location is excellent for walking to everything, while being quiet. Access to a washer and a dryer. Breakfast was very good. Casita was very clean.
We had booked 1 private room with 2 twin beds and a shared kitchen (room had been changed to a double bed). We were offered a casita with full private kitchen that had come available and chose it over the room with a shared kitchen. But the bed was only a double - too small for 2 adults. We would have been happier with a queen bed or 2 twins.

The owner Soledad and her family were most welcoming. I felt like I was a member of the family. The breakfasts were very delicious and varied each of the 6 days I ate there. It was quiet and had beautiful surroundings.

Yes, you can trust all of the 10/10 reviews! I received such a warm welcome here for my first days in Ecuador. I arrived, exhausted, at 7:30 am and Sole allowed me to check in early to have a nap. She waited for me to wake up at 11 am to offer me breakfast (additional cost). Breakfast was delicious and a fair price with everything that was included. I was grateful for the opportunity to practice my Spanish and when I got stuck, Sole could easily transition to English. Sole had great ideas for how to spend my time in Cuenca and helped me secure a taxi when I needed it. The location is an easy, and beautiful, walk to the historic center where you can also catch the local bus to other destinations. One thing I can add to other reviews is that Sole and Augustine are also experienced travellers in Latin America and are passionate about having their minds opened by new cultures and experiences. A lovely family. I would totally stay here again! Muchas gracias Sole!

From the generous warmth of the family to the easy access to my own kitchen, to the quick walk to tourist areas, shopping and all the necessary amenities, this was a perfect place. For those interested: Sole and Augustine have three suites just in the back of the house for families, couples and larger groups if you want greater privacy. For my part, being in the house allowed me not only to enjoy the happy, busy movement of the family and all the friends who came and went during my lengthy stay, but also to get to know this family and come to care deeply about them. Sole greets you with a hug and gets busy making a big, gorgeous breakfast with your own pitcher of steaming Ecuadorian coffee. If there are other guests she encourages you to sit with them in the formal dining room, or you can sit in the brightly-lit room where you can watch the dogs, see the garden, and enjoy the sun. The location is perfect for tourists who want to explore downtown Cuenca. It was also perfect for me to do research on potentially moving to Cuenca, as my visa lawyer was right across the river. The entire family is available to help with anything you need, and they work hard to make you feel at home. I am already planning my return in spring of next year. If you bring an open heart to this house, you will leave with it so full you might not want to leave at all.
I couldn't stay longer. If there was a regret, that was it. I helped set up the Christmas tree, got invested in this wonderful family, fell in love with their puppies and how they treated people and each other. So if there was a negative, I'd have happily stayed another three weeks or more. While each of us travels differently, for my particular style of world travel (and I've been to 47 countries), this property functions, if you want it to, like a homestay. You can be as engaged or solo as you please. So yes. If there's a negative, it's that I had to go back home too soon. What that says is, there was nothing about this stay that could have been better. I was very happy here and will be coming back.

Soledad is the most attentive, friendly, and helpful owner/host. She was always quick to reply to questions and had helpful advice for visiting the area. Our room was large and had a nice kitchen. We also had access to a washer and dryer, which was nice for our 10-day stay. The gardens in the patio were beautiful, too! The location was absolutely perfect, close to the historic center yet away from the noise. We loved being right by the river.

Of all of the hosts/ hostesses I''ve had in traveling around the world, this hostess stands out! Maria is a lovely, amazing woman interested in insuring that you are well cared for, comfortable and happy. She has excellent response time to any issues. There are 3 rooms in the house and 3 apartments with kitchens behind the beautiful home with lovely gardens. It is situated just one block from the major river that runs through town. Central to coffee, bakeries, restaurants, parks and the old downtown.

Maria, the host, is extremely friendly and helpful. The suite I had was like a small apartment and had a full-size kitchen. She offers breakfast if you want to have it. It was a bonus to have access to a washer and dryer.

Sole and her family were the kindest and most loving and generous people I have met. I felt I was with my own family and yet had my own space. My studio was quiet, comfortable, and spacious. The grounds are well kept and filled with beautiful plants, including some medicianl plants. I felt very safe and well taken care of. The location is perfect - within walking distance to the historical center, supermarket, restaurants and different plazas, oh and it is less than a block from the Tomebamba river along which banks one can walk and feel the freshness of the air. I highly recommend this place, so much so that I extended my stay.

The location is the best in the whole entire city of Cuenca. It has central location, but secure and quiet.
15 minutes from anywhere. Fabulous.
As for the breakfast, the hostess will accommodate anything. I actually could noy eat the whole breakfast, it was too much: huge plate of fresh fruit salad prepared right in front of your eyes, juice, again prepared while you eat your salad; eggs, bread, butter, coffee, tea... oh my! Fabulous!
What can I say? That was not a bed&breakfast stay, it was living in your own townhouse: separate entrance and everything you need inside your place, fridge, gas stove, microwave, all sets of dishes, etc. Very decent shower, and of course, toilet. What a wonderful bed! I am very particular about any mattress I sleep on, but the mattress on the bed was exactly what I needed for a wonderful rest. Having washing machine and, especially a DRYER 24/7 available for use cannot be underestimated. One can bring clothes for just 3 days and use it for the whole month. It's an incredible place with wonderful hostess: Maria in no time will be with you helping to find places you need to go, getting for you reservations at spas, etc., calling a taxi, etc. But you will never see her when you need quiet time and own space. I could never imagined living in such a wonderful place. I lived in several hotels in Cuenca before, but Casatodosantos exceeds all the expectations.

I ended up needing a room for two nights and they were most gracious accommodating me! I arrived an hour after booking my room. The staff was SO helpful! Lovely breakfasts (additional cost). I have stayed there before and will in the future when life takes me to Cuenca!
A space heater for the bathroom? It was a chilly time of the year in Cuenca and I am accustomed to warm weather. Stepping out of that hot shower into such cold air was a bit too invigorating for me!

Like another review already said. You can stop searching - this is it. This accommodation has all you need, including a fully equipped kitchen. Plus you become part of a wonderful new family, and the breakfast is delicious and healthy. Sole is such a wonderful host and chef.
