The staff were great . Very helpful and knowledgeable. The rooms were good and very clean. Very you would need for a great stay was available. Secure and quiet. I enjoyed my stay and hope to return for a longer visit next time.
It was a 15- 20 minute walk town where the action is and the beaches.

I have travelled worldwide. Went to Sosua enroute to Samana Peninsula. Wow!!!! Ian and Shelley were fantastic. Canadians from B.C. like myself. We went up in the country to a beautiful waterfall with Ians kids. The scenery is gorgeous. Down the street from the Hotel is a beach with calm clear aqua blue water. Not a soul in site. The locals were very friendly. A nearby bank had a secure ATM which is always a relief. Next door is a busy restaurant open 24/7 and the food was delicious. The best part was sitting at the bar watching NFL with people from different countries as the owner Ian shared stories of his many adventures.My girlfriend needed some medicine. Shelley a former head nurse went out of her way to take her to the Farmacia a block away and translate her needs. All in all we couldn't be happier. After Samana we were going to head to Punta Cana but have decided to return to Sosua and see more of the sights. Close to our return flight from Puerto Plata airport which is about 15 minutes away. Bring a hat is very hot!!!!
I didn't like one thing. My girlfriend fell in love with one of Ians dogs. A little Terrier named Wednesday. We may have to take it home to B.C.

It is clean. It has a beautiful swimming pool. The owners have their collection of animals caged and on display. It's like a private zoo. They have snakes, turtles, iguanas, spiders and even a hawk that they rescued. They have well behaved dogs and cats, even a rabbit. I don't travel with my dog so I was happy to meet a new friends.
They don't have a restaurant, but there are many close by. Right next door is a restaurant that serves great Dominican food 24/7. You have to there early to get the famous potato salad. The staff is very helpful suggesting restaurants and many have free delivery. Also there are food carts that pass by selling hot dogs, fresh fruit and other delicious local foods.

I didn’t like it, it wasn’t clean also when i arrive to change the room and i couldn’t stay there because of the cleanliness and the place had a lot of dogs and there is not parking.

Hotel is nice, full of design, flowers and animals. There are some rooms super quiet - nice for relax. There is also bar open till 11pm, when you can meet people or drink some nice drink. Near to hotel is restaurant and also market.
Smell of animals was little bit too much and there were not really clean. You dont lime to share sunbeds and pool with animals. They are cutie, but a lot ...

After arriving at 2 o'clock and asked for my accommodation and the price I had paid on booking.com I was yelled and attacked by the owner who took away my phone and my suitcase and a denied me access to my accommodation after I had asked why im.not getting wifi or air-conditioning in my room for 28$ he was very violent and very drunk after calling for help from bystanders I was given back my phone and suitcase and tbe owner ran out of the street trying to attack me very violent including not understand that that was the actual owner I caught on video. This must be the worst accommodation i have ever encountered he basically was drunk and super violent cursing at me to leave becouse im asking for wifi in my room and A.C. . Hope I get a refunded and and official apology from booking.com

The Canadian family owners. So helpful and warm and welcoming. Ian had us looking forward to the local sights more than any other host anywhere in the world! The new hostel area is amazing... if you need even more budget than it is anyway, ask for a bed in the hostel! The kitchen was great. Loved the snakes and iguanas... just glad they had a cage.

I stayed in the hostel area of the hotel, and it was awesome! The bed was very comfortable, and the shower had hot water, with really good pressure.
