Wonderful
Very clean, well organized w check in and keys and Daria was there to meet me on time. The kitchen and bathroom had everything clean and necessary. In inner courtyard was very quiet which was great. You can see owner takes meticulous care of the place.

I like the location of the place everything was within walking distance from El Conde El Malecon, and various restaurants. The staff were friendly and very helpful as well. Will be staying again.

Great location and nice person, it was clean and the shower had hot water ready. They checked me early. Easy to locate and check in.

The manager (Daria) of the apartment complex is very pleasant, helpful and communicative. After a few sleepless nights I was unsatisfied with the noise experienced in apartment 304. The loud music being played by people in a neighbouring property was a matter completely outside the control of the management but I was offered an apartment in another part of the building. Problem solved!
Good location for those who want to be in the centre of Zona Colonial.
The fact that nobody is available to contact in an emergency was a slight concern. The building in itself is safe and well secured.
Although I personally avoid the use of AC, the fact that there is an separate charge for it should have been made clear at the outset. It's not an unreasonable charge but this should be clearly advertised on the website so that potential customers can be made aware.

I spent 4 nights in this apartment hotel. The building is old, and the stairwells are dark. The furniture is also old, but sturdy and well-built. The ceiling is high, which makes the room feel spacious. The building was quiet. I didn't hear my neighbors at all.
The kitchen had a table, chairs, fridge, and stove. No microwave. You must bring your own matches to light the stove. You pay extra if you want the air conditioner, but I didn't use it. The ceiling fan worked well enough for me. The bed was comfortably firm. WiFi was okay, but dropped the connection at times.
There is a lovely rooftop patio with plenty of seating, both covered and uncovered. Weirdly, there is a microwave on the rooftop, which I didn't discover until my last day at the apartment.
The apartment is only about a 15-minute walk to the beach. It's also only a few minutes walk from Calle El Conde, the busy, gritty, pedestrian street with shops, vendors, restaurants, and a large grocery store.
1. There are windows with shutters in the kitchen and bedroom, but they don't have screens. If you open the shutters, mosquitoes come in. There is no mosquito net over the bed, so you must keep the windows closed, which makes the rooms quite dark.
2. I chose a room with a balcony that faced the street because I like city activity. However, the street was strewn with trash, and the surrounding buildings were dilapidated and covered with graffiti. It also wasn't very lively except on the weekend when the music from the bar lasted until 3 AM. There was no balcony furniture, and the chairs from the kitchen wouldn't fit through the balcony door. I recommend getting a room in the rear. Don't pay extra for the balcony.
3. The office is closed most of the time. You must contact the manager by WhatsApp if you need anything.
4. The apartment looked dreary, and the surrounding area looked unsafe. However, I walked around alone and no one bothered me.
I didn't like the apartment or the area immediately surrounding it. Even though it was cheap, I wouldn't stay there again.

The bed was very comfortable. The apartment is ideally located in the heart of the Colonial Zone. The apartment had everything which one would need for a shorter or a longer stay. A great bakery was just in front of the house. The staff members were very helpful and cooperative.
There was nothing that I did not like.

Amazing location, great shops, cafes, and restaurants around. Very spacious apartment with a fully equipped kitchen. Nice view from the windows and gorgeous rooftop terrace. The girl at the reception, as well as the cleaning lady, were very helpful and attentive. I do not think there is a better place to stay in Santo Domingos Colonial Zone.

Basic apartment with all the necessary equipment like a TV, fridge, equipped kitchen and comfy bed. Safe to walk around even at night. Easy check-in process. Perfect location in the historical part of Santo Domingo. Friendly staff.
