The ubication of the hotel is super nice and convenient.
We were needed to be changed of room because of a very bad humidity problem on floor 16th.

I like everything about this place, staff, facilities, food, etc etc. Golds Gym access next door to hotel, amazing pool, great views, solid food offering., location, Great staff and the Mall.
Once I was give a very watery pineapple juice, no biggy.

Professionalism of the front desk staff, the views of the room, the fact that it actually feels like luxury. A lot of hotels claim luxury, very few can make every part and part there of, of your experience feel like absolute luxury.
The hotel car service driver who dropped me off at the airport was unprofessional and not up-to-parr with what this hotel is. The guy actually offered me to go hangout with him and his girl. This is the clean version of that offer. Two things: If i were white, with blonde hair and green eyes, he wouldn’t dare to make such offer (he said he wouldn’t); The other thing, soliciting a guest of such a high standard place, is almost shocking. My understanding is that these are not direct employees of the hotel but there needs to be better vetting. In plain English, i do not want the taxi driver soliciting anything to me, not at the JW; it doesn’t
fit the rest of the staff and hotel.

Great rooms and location
I was charged double and still have not been refunded nor received any response to my messages. I had paid in advance with Booking. com which they refused to believe and then deducted both the booking. com fee and the room fee.

Well located, within one of the best shopping malls in Santo Domingo.
First room I was given was near the elevator, which could be heard from the room every time it reached said room's floor (insufferable). AC controls in that room were dysfunctional as well. That forced me to ask for a room switch, which I could get completed only after 5 phone calls to reception and a 45min delay that turned out to be unjustified.

Beautiful rooms and hotel design. Staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. Breakfast is excellent. Service in the restaurant was great.
The pool was under construction but this was not stated in the booking.com page. Wait times for room service was over an hour.
