I was injured on the property do to only one towel in the bathroom. It was two of us in the room. Which to our surprise it wasn't event the room we booked. Anyway I called the front desk three to four times requesting towels which never came. So I took a shower and fell from the slippery tile on the floor. The TV service didn't really work. I roommate also had an injury to her head do to the table being uneven outside. Both of us was hurt on your property do to staff not doing their job. No medical assistance was given unless you had $150 . So we guess if one of us had an heart attack we would have died. No ambulance was called and she had a head injury. How to you have this big resort and maybe two ppl speak English. . Most of the staff was just rude . Especially the men. I travel a lot and has never been treated as me and my 3 guest was treated at Vista Sol

Food and staff at the restaurant were really helpful and friendly in, except for one restaurant we where the chef served pork to my wife when she said she could eat pork

Let's start from check-in, the restaurant appointments close at 5 and nobody told us so we missed the first night of the restaurants. The buffet dinner was terrible. The snack house was awful, the food truck burgers are undercooked. There was no actual Dominican food. It was mostly bland regular American food. There was a short skinny young man that was very helpful and the tall dark bellman was VERY helpful as well. The older gentleman at the front desk who helps with bags storage was great and helpful as well... Most of all the others were awful. The room now. So there are mosquitos, the water wouldn't go down quickly in the drain and the outlets in the room behind bearly worked. There's construction happening and it's loud. The entire experience was truly disappointing from start to finish

The food did not have much variety and kinda salty

The rooms need a little updating and good pillows. The fridge was only stocked up with water and the coffee was never stoked up after we drank it. In the restaurant we thought waiters catered to our drinks but didn't. It was hot in there so we tried to seat under or near a fan.

The towels ,were not left in rm to bath I called for two days for towels. That's Crazy

This was my second time at this resort. So I kinda knew what to expect: a nice beach, several pools, O.K. food and drinks. I want to emphasize this point: don't expect much when it comes to food and drinks. They are "bleh" at best. But.. there were two aspects in which the hotel has clearly gone down in quality since the last time I visited: the condition of the rooms, and customer service. Allow me to explain: The room: -My room had a ceiling fan that clearly hasn't been cleaned in months (I've attached a picture to prove it). -The bathroom door didn't lock (cause the door jamb is broken, like an old home). -The bathroom bin lid was broken. -The toilet didn't flush well. - I looked under one of the beds and it was clear that the cleaning people hadn't even bother to look under it in weeks (there was food debris and a lot of dust.) Maybe I was assigned a room in an older building or something, because I could notice the decline compared to my last visit. Overall, the room was just disappointing. The staff: When you walk around and see that 8 out of 10 employees look unhappy, it's not hard to infer that there must be an issue at a managerial level. Except for a couple of bartenders by the lobby bar, everyone had an attitude of "have your drink/food and get out of my sight". They weren't mean or rude, but they were clearly unhappy. I went with my wife and daugther to celebrate my daughter's birthday and, we actually had a good time, but that's because we were together as a family and because my daughter, being just a kid, was ecstatic about the beach and the pool. It had nothing to do with the food, the drinks, the room, or the attention received. So, considering that every other resort has, at the very least, a beach and a pool, next time I'll be looking for the rest elsewere. I will not be returning to this one.

No indoor dining. Rooms are very old. The place as a hold is not very clean. Overall this place needs an entire makeover

There was a cockroach in the room. Told the clerk during checkout, is like didn't care. Toilet didn't flush properly.

Our room the a/c wasn't working and the bathroom was a little dirty.

Terrible, arrived at 11:40pm and was told there is no room available for us. We made an online reservation and also called to confirm availability before booking. We also called before and after booking online to request a place without too many stairs for my handicap mother. They promised to have perfect accommodations. THEY LIED. They tried to convince us of a Duplex upgrade, when we arrived at the room it had a cushion on a metal cot used as a bed. 4 star resort with old metal cots? As well as a 15 step stairwell. How could we use this as a handicap person? We then walked around we entire hotel all night with staff who kept sending us to the same Duplex room 4 times until 2am. Eventually I told them to stop messing around please since its been a long night and my disabled mother was exhausted from walking around to each property. The next morning they tell us that the location they placed us we cannot eat or drink and instead have to walk to the other end of the resort to use the bar for water and drinks. This is SO DISGUSTING. On top of terrible service, and horrible attitudes. They did not have our room available, they are the ones who put us through absolute HELL. Why put us in this area if we cant even drink water here? Honestly worst experience I have ever had at a resort. Food is dry and old, really crappy options. Snack bar has old burgers and sour nacho cheese. Beds are hard like a boxing mat, and room is filled with unlimited amount of mosquitos that have eaten us alive. Oh and they advertise Wifi, there is no Wifi.

Language barrier... No one speaks English, and it caused a lot of confusion because nobody understood us it was so difficult to order food, drinks, or even ask information.
