The staff was very accommodating to my daughter who is special needs . The beds were very comfortable
The air conditioner wasnt working in the room but it was resolved quickly although I did mention that the tv in the bedroom didnt work and no one came to fix it The food for lunch wasnt the best. Breakfast and dinner were much better

Too big, had to walk long ways between things, shows in evening could have been better, need better information about where things are and when they were open, needed a paper map, wifi not good in some areas, rooms were cramped.

Its a big property, beach front, big room, nice decor.
The check in was a hassle it took 3 hours. They made me call booking twice. Booking agents did their best but the Front desk agent kept making up excuses, like saying that the booking agents were Talking to people in Mexico and they couldnt speak to those people.

The staff at the bar and front desk was really nice and friendly.
Most staff couldnt understand any English. It took too long to get towels. We was there over 24 hours and have not received towels. The food and buffet had no seasoning.

Location was stunning.
Hotel is falling apart and needs major renovation. Pool lights hanging off, tiles missing, water slides very dangerous and caused burns, bumps and bruises. Rooms outdated with bedding full of stains

Flies around food at buffet Saona and Macao. Poor cleaning at tables in buffet. Mosquitoes all over. The whole property should be bug spray. I bought a Saona tour from Luis at this resort and it was a mess, we had to call the police at gas station,

Reception staff at checkin. At arrival i was informed my reservarion was cancelled. After over an hour of waiting with no reason of why my reservation was cancelled at the hotel while it was confirmed in my booking.com app, we decided to ge get something to eat while reception made a new booking for us. After having something to eat, we returned to reception only to find out they made a resercation with 1 beds when we explicitly asked for a king size bed because we were traveling with our 3yr old daughter.
While they were trying to see if they can find another room, a next colleague came to the desk and asked me for the booking.com confirmation number. When i gave her the information she immediately found my original reservation (not cancelled). This being after almost 2 hours after we tried to check in. Again, no explanation was given as to what happened that now our reservation was in the system. They just charged my card the reservation total and sent us to our room.
The next day i realized they charged my card 337USD too much. I sent booking.com a msg to inquire about that immediately.
Going to the pool, we went to the towel hut to get towels, only for them to tell us we cant get towels because reception had to give us the towelcards at check-in (which they didn't). We ended up not going to the pool because of all the frustration in the first 16hrs of being at the hotel.
