We liked the nature and the location. The food was ok.
The service could be a lot better. And it could be cleaner. And the entertainment was not great. Many times they have run out of things. There was mould in the room and the musty smell bothered me. Most of the coffee machines had issues. 2 days we could not find coffee anywhere near the beach after they closed one of the bars at the beach. You had to go back to the lobby to get one. It is a 5 star resort after all. Expected a lot better.

Hospitality and the recreation team. The location is also very good. For children, it is a very good place to spend the holidays.
The activities was very nice too, everyday a new attraction and all of them very exciting
The Hotel has a lot of restaurants, but it's a little difficult to reserve a time do dinner.
One of the main restaurants (Macau) stayed close for almost all our stay, that's caused a overcrowding at the other one and it wasn't communicated.
Some staffs asked for tips, that's was a really uncomfortable situation.
They also try to insist that we do the survey front of them.

We had such a beautiful experience at Grand Sirenis Punta Cana that I felt compelled to share.
First, a heartfelt thank you to everyone at the hotel for their kindness and attention throughout our stay. A special mention to Nelson, our concierge, who made everything so easy and welcoming; Joan M. the lifeguard at the pool, who greeted us every single day with the biggest smile; and Miguel and Isac at the bar, who made the best cocktails with such contagious energy. I also can't forget the kindness and attention of Dona Juanita, the lady who took care of cleaning the room.
Before coming, I read some negative reviews and honestly, I feel sorry for those experiences. But I truly believe that sometimes people arrive without an open heart to understand the reality and culture of this country. The Dominican Republic is a place where people work incredibly hard to offer the best they can, within their means and their culture and that deserves respect.
If I can share one piece of advice: whenever possible, leave a small tip. These workers leave their simple homes every day to come into this beautiful resort a place that feels like a bubble, very different from their daily reality and they still give their absolute best with warmth and pride.
The hotel is beautiful, the beach is truly paradise, and the food is delicious.
If you come with an open heart, ready to embrace the people and the culture, we absolutely recommend this place. We would come back without hesitation.

The stuff are friendly. The beach is very nice.
The bed is not double bed. It's more like a twin bed. We have two kids. We booked the two double bed room which states that can sleep up to 4. But the bed was way to small for two persons. The food options can also be improved.

The resort was lovely. The beach is beautiful. The Waterpark is a bit dated and needs a refresher. We had fun but just went onw morning and that was enough. Overall the food and service was great for an all inclusive resort. We also liked that there was a more international feel and we heard lots of different languanges. Overall. a great week for my family!
The water park was ok but needs a littlw shining up. The pool was great but a lot of it is 6 feet deep in the adult section. Sould have liked some more area betwee. The shallow and deep portions.

I like the beach, pool and food was good. We didnt get sick which is wonderful.
Check in and reservetion were useless.
They can't even help cancel, change or make a reservation. Front desk refer you to reservations and they dont answer.. It kept us 4 hours waiting with our kids on the lobby.
Concierge is very pushy trying to make you go to a vip.breakfast to sell you something which make us dont want to ask for help from them.

1 Star – Do Not Be Misled by the “5-Star” Label
This resort is advertised as 5-star, but the reality was shocking. The room was disgusting, with a strong mildew smell, visible humidity damage, and mold on the walls. The air felt unhealthy and very difficult to breathe. The bathroom was in terrible condition.
We reported this immediately and requested a room change — no solution at all. Instead, we were pressured with timeshare offers. Very disappointing and stressful experience for a so-called luxury resort. Misleading and overpriced.

The conditions we experienced are unacceptable, unhealthy, and misleadingly marketed. Including the food they served, some of us came back with stomach issues.
I am sharing this review to warn future guests: do not rely on the 5-star label. What we experienced was far below even basic hospitality standards.

The beach was nice, and the warm weather was very enjoyable.
The food quality was disappointing. Out of the five restaurants we reserved for dinner, four of them were not good at all. Service quality around the pool was poor, and the cocktails were very basic and low quality. The hotel was not very clean, and there were not many entertainment programs available. Considering the price of CAD 6,800 for six nights, it did not offer good value for money.
