The rooms are old and outdated. The A/C didn’t work properly, and the room stayed at 82°F. I paid for internet access, but it didn’t work either. The staff was not very helpful.

Almost EVERYTHING!! I loved the ability to go from one resort to the next at ANY time of the day/night.
I loved the room, but upon arrival we did notice that we did NOT get the 2 level Honeymoon Suite....we ended up with the paying for a Suite we did not recieve....we didn't say anything BECAUSE the place was Beautiful and the staff were very accommodating....we just wanted to start our vacation :) we will return, but we will make sure we get the room we book.

The grounds were beautiful and the staff was really nice and friendly
We stayed in building 3. We did not sleep at all due to the noise in this building. It sounded as if carts were rolling down the hallway all day and night. The noise was unbearable. The room was hot, the water pressure was low and cold. This was a nightmare. The bed squeaked with every toss and turned. We had to pay for WiFi and not to mention the room was on the third floor with no elevator. But hey the saying is, you get what you pay for and the mini bar in the room is a joke. We paid for premium spirits and never seen any premium spirits at any bar. I will never stay at this resort again. The flys around the food and bar area was really annoying. We ate twice at the hotel but spent money elsewhere eating. Picture below is the day we checked in mini bar

A/C not cooling at all. I reported it twice. The first time, I was told that the technician was on his way and we waited for 1 1/2 and nobody showed up. The second time we were not in the room. According to them the technician fixed it. We it was not true, the lie to my face and nothing was done. So we slept for three nights without the A/C just the fan.

The location of the hotel is good but the street to go to hotel is in very bad condition.
The hotel has bad quality drinks. The pool does not have heater and the pool water is really cold. The hotel offer a VIP package for additional $300.00 and everything that they are offering is not true. They do not have premium drink and the restaurant close to the beach always is closed. The buffet is poor and on top of that the rooms do not have hot water to take a good shower and the beds in front of the beach that they give you with the VIP always are full because they only have 5 or 6.

The staff is amazing! The VIP section at the beach was perfect. The staff made sure everyone had what they needed, whether it was drinks, towels, food, housekeeping etc...
Angel Francisco & his staff made my husband's birthday a hit!
We arrived on Jan 22, 2026, but did not get the HONEYMOON SUITE we BOOKED until Jan 24. I booked the honeymoon suite but got a knock off version. That did not make me happy at all. No refund, no pro-rated room. Nothing! This suite was booked months in advance. My husband & I were celebrating his 70th birthday & our 35th wedding anniversary. How is the regular room the same price? We paid a lot of money for something we did not get the whole time we were there. That was the only part of the trip that I did not like.

The grounds are beautiful, the rooms are nice, lots of bars, gorgeous beach.
The food was not good, and less was open than we had been told at check in. Meals at the other resort you can get to by shuttle were better. Asking for anything though concierge by phone was met with attitude and often just completely ignored, and we even paid extra to be “VIP”. We received a lot of push back when we asked about arranging transportation out of the resort, they basically won’t help you leave unless it’s an excursion you book through them. The spa/excursion sales people were smothering. Left most interactions with male employees wondering if that was nice or was that attitude. Would not suggest anyone who doesn’t drink go to this resort as we received alcohol in drinks ordered as virgin, and had to convince bartenders we didn’t want alcohol.

Staff is very friendly, the hotel vibe is overall relaxed.
Bedbugs, unacceptable , even more considering I paid extra 400 USD to get vip room and benefits. Snack bar doesn’t always have food, just remains of breakfast or lunch. Our bathroom shower didn’t work and the toilet was leaking after being used. Fortunately those were fixed, but I would expect maintenance be done before guests arrived, not during. I tired to get room service once, and nobody picked the phone. They were supposed to give us new towels everyday and they didn’t, had to call to fix that. Breakfast buffet didn’t had the same juices and food everyday, so if you enjoyed the bacon and pineapple juice of the previous day, you might have to conform with something different next one.

Small resort, super easy to get around. Staff are amazing and always accommodating. Beach is clean. Relaxing adults only environment! Although dated, everything is decently clean. Food isn’t 5 stars, but you will always find something to eat!
Beds are really hard, not super comfortable but slept fine. Activity staff can sometimes be very pushy to get people involved. If people don’t want to play, that’s ok! They shouldn’t be guilted in vacation.

Grounds were clean and well maintained. Pool was always at a nice temperature. Having access to other resorts from the same chain was nice for a change of scenarios. Buffet was good overall - food at the steakhouse and Italian restaurant was amazing! The bartenders from the reception and beach bars were super friendly and fun. Lots of activities going on. Michelle, one of the concierge, was always very friendly and helpful. The SPA services were amazing. Easy and quick access to the beach.
Unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing, especially considering this was our honeymoon and we had informed the hotel in advance via email. Instead of a warm welcome, we were placed in a very poor-quality room that smelled strongly of mildew. Both rooms we stayed in had a mildew odor, but the first one was significantly worse.
Our first room was dirty upon arrival: cup stains, lots of hair on the shower floor, stained towels, and barely any hot water. The shower knob even pulled off. We also noticed that rooms vary a lot in quality and upgrades, so it really seems like luck of the draw.
Even after switching rooms, the issues continued. The AC in the second room never went below 25°C, the shower head was broken, the phone didn’t work, and again there was hair on the shower floor. The toilet also didn’t work properly.
There was even a door sign listing things that might need to be repaired—which shows the hotel knows there are ongoing maintenance issues.
Service was inconsistent. At check-in we were told room service was free, but later found out that wasn’t correct. We were also told the restaurant couldn’t make pizza because they had no cheese, yet the pizza we eventually received did come with cheese.
The front desk didn’t order the taxi we requested and also failed to cancel a previous taxi when asked. Some staff members seemed uninterested in helping or like they didn’t want to be there (mainly those at the Swiss restaurant).
There was also constant pressure to buy things or attend a timeshare meeting. One staff member promised us a “welcome gift” (a t-shirt and beach bag) and took us on what he said would be a simple tour of the nicer resort next door. It turned out to be an attempt to get us into a timeshare presentation. When we declined, he became visibly upset, and we never received the gifts, making it clear they were not genuine welcome treats but conditional on attending the timeshare meeting.
Not many restaurant options on the property.
