Gorgeous beach, mostly friendly staff.
Room was small, dirty, and had some serious issues like the toilet would not flush consistently, the sliding door could hardly open, the AC was super loud, and the keycard entry stopped working multiple times. Rooms are definitely dated.

The room was very clean. The pool was great as the ocean.
The staff didnt know what was going on. There wasn't anything telling you what was going on. The entertainment was some employees trying to get you to dance to different music every night. The buffet was basically the same every night

The staff are friendly.
1. Rooms are old, dirty. A/C is insanely loud, beds are hard and uncomfortable. If you expect a good night of sleep forget about it. 2. Restaurants are not good. Italian was okay-ish. House white wine (the only option) is disgusting. 3. Overpriced.

The location was beautiful, one of the best beaches. The staff was so amazing and kind. The pool was nice and big as well.
Unfortunately the picture of the property were a bit deceiving. It was the epitome of the landlord special it seamed as though things were meant to look like they were fixed rather than actually fixing. You could tell this was the original princess resort over 25 years ago, but neglected over time, as other princess resorts were built in Punta Cana.
We were on our honeymoon in the honeymoon suite, in the nicest way possible a holiday inn would have been nicer. They ac never got below 78 on full blast. Our jacuzzi tub (the thing that we were most excited about) was disgusting, the jets when turned on had gunk and black specs coming out. The water never got hot in the tub or shower.
The food throughout the resort was on a school cafeteria level. Only 2/5 restaurants were open each day.
It was extremely disappointing to find out that the resort was only at 20% capacity and being charged high season prices. Not all the choices for food and drinks were open like the website promised.
The last thing that put a strong distaste in our mouth was that the resort was allowing vendors/scammers to set up on property and harass the guests. Its one thing to have vendors walk up and down the beaches, but not in the actual property.
On our first day we were called at 8am being told we had a free honeymoon gift waiting for us in the lobby. We went up and got breakfast then went to the lobby to see what we had. The front desk was confused when we asked about it and some random lady grabbed us and took us over to her table in the lobby. They then proceeded to try and get us to go off property and go to another property and sell us timeshares. This was the start of several different (aggressive) scams throughout our week.
All in all we made our own fun, but was very dissatisfied with the resort as a whole. It was a bummer but its not somewhere we would ever suggest others to go.

The staff
Didn't have hot water for the first 3 days, no a.c. . Power would randomly turn off. Harassed in the resort and out of the resort( resort let the solicitor in to sell the wares). Could not go to the beach and relax due to solicitors. Would not recommend to anyone.the bed was hard as a rock. The bath room was less than 2 feet wide.

The beach and water are gorgeous. Easy to get to from the airport.
There are 4 resultants but they only open one at a time. That means each night everyone can only eat at one resultant, resulting in long waits and lines. The food was poor quality and the drinks were even worse. No one knew how to make a drink.

Wonderful
The beach is beautiful, the staff is amazing. The restaurants are without reservation so thats great. It's a small resort, so it is easy to walk. All the rooms are suites, they all have jacuzzi. There are no kids :)
The room design could be better, the bathroom (where the toilet is) is really small. The rooms could be a little more updated. The buffet design (like a colmado) could be better. Would love for the resort to have better wifi services.
