Beautiful landscape. No issues getting a spot at the pool or chairs at the beach.
It wasn’t clean. We saw multiple roaches. The staff was not always friendly especially when getting towels. They expect customers to use one towel per day to go from the pool to the beach and vice versa. The food was not great and they serve too much pork.

Gorgeous setting. Felt like I was a movie star.
That it's very hard to navigate the premises. It all literally looks the same. The few tiny signs aren't placed well. It's a huge facility. Either color the club buildings to distinguish or place the number in HUGE print - not to missed - on the side in black against the cream exterior. I and many others I spoke with wasted a lot of time walking in circles trying to locate where to go.
That I wasn't when I booked asked what drinks I would like in the room. I only drink diet soda and there were 2 bottles 1 flavor yet many bottles of sugared with a variety of flavors. They only have diet coke. If I'm expected to only have that available for 5 days then why not just have 1 alcohol available - no variety - just vodka for example? Just reguar coke nothing else for everyone else?
The ice cream bar at the buffet had every topping of sauce including fake 'white' chocolate but no actual chocolate. What genius decided that?

The rooms emitted an unpleasant smell, presumably from the a/c unit. The “perk” of aromatherapy for the rooms IS A MUST. It has to be requested.

The room and the resort were as advertised.
Some of the people on the resort continuously bypassed us multiple times at different restaurants on the resort.Not to mention this was a much older crowd at this resort. Definitely not the resort to turn up.

I had a beautiful upgraded swim up room in the club section. The room was cleaned and the bar was stock a long with snakes. My concierge was a blessing.
There was not a thing to complain about. The resort is wounderful.

The restaurants were all good and the variety of food, the food safety were excellent ,
The staff were friendly and very helpful,
They were very polite
The pool and beach were clean
The drinks were good,
The café was amazing
The Butler’s service was great although we only met him at our 3rd day we arrived late at the night
The Jacuzzi and the 2 bathroom in the room were a plus
It needs a little bit of maintenance, otherwise it won’t last more than few years!

The service was out standing, the check in was wonderful. From the time I step off the plane our diver was waiting for us. They loaded up out suit cases and the drive was nice. The food was was very good, I think they have gotten in new chiefs, because the food was very good. The drinks and the beach was top notch.
I can't find one bad thing to say about the place. The cabanas need to be updated and a little TLC. Nothing major since it is in the moisture all the time.

Our recent stay at Majestic Mirage Punta Cana was unfortunately disappointing.
The property is in need of significant renovation. Many areas appear outdated and would benefit from upgrades and better overall maintenance. For a resort positioned as luxury, the current condition does not meet expectations.
Communication was also challenging, as many staff members did not speak or understand English well. This made basic requests and interactions more difficult than they should be at an international resort.
The food quality was below expectations. The buffet options were repetitive, with the same selections offered daily, and the overall quality did not reflect the premium price point. Greater variety and improved freshness would make a big difference.
Hygiene and cleanliness standards should be a top priority. While some areas were acceptable, overall attention to detail in cleanliness needs improvement.
Considering the cost, approximately $800 per night, which represents more than three average monthly salaries in this country, guests rightfully expect a higher level of quality, service, and overall experience.
There is potential here, but significant improvements are needed in renovation, food quality, staff training, and hygiene standards to justify the price.
