Disappointing
The people were nice.
Well when we got there they gave us crappy room that wasnt clean, tv was broken and hair the couch. Then we got switched to another room and there was water all over the floor and I slip and fracture my leg really bad, so I will be going to get X-rays done when I get home.

The resort is beautiful
The gift shop substantially over charge. The gift shop staff refused to allow me to speak with management. In addition, the resort appears to have a low inventory of wash clothes. Room service would only leave 1 or 2 max. Although, I asked for four seeing asthough we are a family of four.

I wanted to spend time with family
The place was absurd, there is NO MAINTENANCE in the entire resort, bathtub was a jacuzzi so high you can break your neck and need someone else to help you get in and out since was no shower, electrical outlets broken and dangerous. Rooms were barely clean and had to call the concierge to finally drop some towels. The last two days with NO HOT WATER, no one could take showers, with the ocean water or the pool. Had to ask to send someone to skim the pool because was so filthy.

The beach was beautiful and clean
The rooms were not in great condition musty smells,the beds were uncomfortable, we were harassed by sales people and there was no communication about things to do on the property during our stay.

The property was clean and beautiful. Check in and out was very fast and efficient. Transportation was available to all parts of the resort where restaurants and activities were. The beach was clean and seaweed free. We had a great guy name Rafael who was very attentive and made sure everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable. The staff were very friendly and accommodating.
Before you got in the resort the people started approaching you about a presentation and would not let you get settled in or even check in. Lots of salesman on the beach and some offering you drugs to buy. It was hard to learn about the activities and shows, not good communication in that area.
The drinks at the bars and the food at some of the restaurants can be better.
We had a few problems with our room but they were addressed and taken care quickly. We were even offered an upgrade in our room.

The staff were amazing I just dont like that they take your whole day to get you to sing up to enroll on paying monthly and you can come and make your reservation, I feel like that was not necessary verse just asking if you are interested.
They try to enroll you and if you dont they feel disappointed I feel like you shouldnt have to have that pressure in your vacation.

The beaches
This was the worst hotel I ever stayed in. They are only nice when you check in after you are on your own. My room phone was broken during our whole stay of 5 days we only had one tv that worked in our room the power went out the same night for 10 minutes. I contact the management at the lobby they did nothing and told me to download WhatsApp to contact them since my room phone was out. They only answer my WhatsApp one time during our whole stay ,at checkout did not come to our room to help with our luggage had to send my husband to the lobby so someone can pick up our
luggage .80% of the staff had an attitudes like they hated their job but that gives you no reason to treat us poorly one guy call us lazy at the pool because we said we don't want an excursion.They only cater to reward members. You are going to be harassed your whole vacation to join the member club and to buy excursions.Same food every day at the buffet it's very hard here to get a reservation at most restaurants here we got into 2 one was the same food like the buffet El Dorado's food was good but the hostess was rude
