Is a big complex of hotels; but this one has small atmosphere, its not so crowded. Beach is great. But for the price; its a good choice for my budget.
They only give you a 2 per one, for choosing the restaurants a la carte. Which is disappointing. Also, is hard to get the choice you want, because every restaurant was already full.

They had different shows every night
I did not know that my reservation only included a sit down dinner. Everything else was a buffet and the stuff try to trick you telling you you have a free gift but they do not tell you that you have to attend a one hour seminar.

Location and access to all other properties and food amenities.
Food theme nights were fun, even though some country themes for me were incorrect.
My key card every day needed to be reset, and my building was the last one on the property so was an annoying walk to get the key changed every day when it did not work.
The ceiling leaked in the bathroom. I alerted the staff. I expected a sort of recompense for the inconvenience.
Air condition I could not turn off so at night it was actually cold.

Keys dont work,Food was very salty,men on beach forcing us to pay for monkeys and parrots photos and not giving me what was booked ahead of time also assuming my son and I are couple so we deserve one bed.

The reservation was made for the Grand Bahia Turquesa and the change us to another older section away from the area and facilities we paid for. Very disappointing experience

The restaurant staff is pleasant and quick. The pool staff was also very nice. We appreciated the overall friendliness and availability of the people who work there. During our stay we had car trouble and the staff also helped us with that.
Our first night there was a very loud party outside of our room hosted by the hotel itself. It was not restful. Regarding the beach, it was full of sargassum - not the hotel's fault - but it rendered the beach unusable. The food options were not as varied and at one point, there were items that they ran out of and did not replace.

I did not like the way I was treated, I had knee surgery recently and they gave me a room far away on the 3rd floor. The tub was so high that I had to buy a stool in order to get in.
Room was old and the ceiling was loosing paint. Mosquitoes where all over. The lobby bathroom was filty and had roaches. This is a 1 star resort.
