The food was terrible, some areas outdated. Missing items in room. Developed food poisoning from the steakhouse. Initial intend on bed had stains and hair. Had to call for them to be changed.

They tried to accommodate us when we expressed our concerns. Great food in the Steakhouse, and great shows at night
Check in process took hours later than expected. Our room had a leak from the ceiling we used the trash can to catch all of the water. A cook in the buffet was coughing and sneezing but still continued to cook without washing her hands! The pool closed at 7pm. After a day out for an excursion, there wasnt any time to enjoy the pool. The pool bar ran out of chicken at 6pm, and the drinks were weak! I found a crab the size of my palm crawling around my shower! And the tub was not cleaned properly.

Food: We found the breakfast at the ELEMENTS Buffet veryyyy good. It was varied and complete. The salt and pepper shakers weren't working very well, other than that we really enjoyed breakfast and all meals in general. On our first night we tried the TANDORI restaurant Indian Cuisine, and the food was spectacular. PRO TIP: Ask for the basmati rice as a side dish, it's the best!!! On our second and last night we tried the PESCARI restaurant Sushi & Ceviche, my partner and I had ALL the rolls, it was a very fun and rewarding experience. The rolls were good overall, but our favorite was definitely the "ceviche roll". Every meal was generally very good! Service: In terms of service, we were overly pleased with how personalized the service was. Everyone, absolutely everyone, was very kind and very attentive, we had no problem with any of them. We want to give special thanks to Pedro, our butler, who was always super attentive to all our needs. He always went above and beyond to help with everything. Thank you Pedro for making our weekend a wonderful stay! It is also worth mentioning the special treatment we had from Marcos, at the main pool bar, as well as Katherine! and Salvador at the Munchies snack bar! We are very pleased with absolutely everyone. Entertainment: The resort has several activities during the day, we thank Pedro once again for sending us the itinerary for the current day every morning, so we didn't miss out on the activities we were interested in. The foam party in the main pool was so much fun! We had a really great time! The theme parties at night were also a lot of fun, I liked the part where the songs were choreographed and we got to follow along. My partner and I were laughing because we hadn't even left the resort yet and we were already planning when we were going to come back. It was a very pleasant experience.
There really isn't much to say about what we didn't like because our stay was exceptional, but we did have some problems with the room amenities. For example: the coffee maker was not working, we reported it and it was quickly replaced by another one! The television was not working either, we also reported it and a guy came to fix it. The DJ who works at EXCITE Sports Bar and Lounge wasn't very good, he didn't vary the songs and it was just pandering to the American crowd. The transition between one song and another left a lot to say. We didn't like the DJ of this place at all.

The breakfast was not good. The location was okay.
Better customer service. The service at this property was terrible when it came to the front desk including the manager/supervisor who never came to address my concerns. The two names I was given for supervisors were not the people I spoke with. They refused to get me a manager or supervisor. They brought me the concierge instead. Room service was also terrible. Overall I wouldnt recommend this property to anyone. My experience wasnt so well and I dont plan on coming back!

Wonderful
The staff was the highlight of the trip (shoutout to Yudy, Rudy, Rosa, Yudelki, Surelvi, Adrian and all the other amazing staff we met). Everyone was extremely friendly and welcoming. The food at the buffet was pretty good and they had plenty of options to choose from. The hotel seemed a bit far off from the city center and the airport (taxi ride was 50 - 70 dollars). The pool was great and we were able to book an ATV excursion through the hotel. Overall, a solid experience.
The hotel was far from everything!
