I liked the room and I liked that they had two separate pools.
The staff wasn?t very friendly or helpful. The pool water was pretty dirty and turned our swimsuits/nails green. The hours at the restaurants were not great and the food was not very good (especially at the buffets). You also need reservations for dinner

The staff, contrary to past reviews I read, were all so nice, pleasant and eager to help with anything that we needed.
The food was absolutely disgusting. The best thing I ate was a $9 bag of Cheetos I bought. I wish I would've known upfront that all of the restaurants on the Catalonia property were available for us to eat at, not just the ones on the adults only side.

I would like to suggest including the ingredients like eggs, milk and wheat/gluten. I have allergies to eggs and milk and had to ask the staff all the time what was utilised to prepare a meal, and sometimes they didnt know what was used to prepare the meals.

Our Suite was super clean (housekeeping twice daily) plus its overlooking the water fountain which makes the view from our suite more beautiful. The staff were really nice and professional, always ready to provide help/assistance when needed (right from the moment we arrived until we checked out). I love the night view at the resort, it gives a romantic vibe. Of all the restaurants at the resort, I enjoyed Thalassa restaurant the most.
The Asian Restaurant (Tao Cat) needs to invest in a good chef. The atmosphere, location and the view from the restaurant is amazing but the food can be better

I liked the amenities that hotel is offering
Our room was with a pool and it was the best decision that we made. We werent limited with pool time like other people.
I liked that they had so much options for food.
We had pleasant stay thanks to Martina and Noel Garcia.
And other staff was nice too. The best food was at La Toscana and Mikado(make sure you have a reservation).
I didnt like a couple of things. First rude, unprofessional and unpleasant reception staff. They didnt even listed to us and they charged me for my stay and my friend stay too even though we give them 2 cc. Speaking bad things(in Spanish) in front of us thinking we wont understand its beyond unacceptable.
Tao Cat had really bad food, we were hungry after that dinner. Rodeo steak house was so so, food was decent not worth the hype at all.
1 of the things I didnt liked is that most of the people didnt leave any tips for staff. K I understand that everything is included in your price but you can leave a 1$ or 5$ to your server after your meal. Have some sympathy and common sense

The resort was peaceful and nice. The staff excellent and happy to help with anything we asked of them. All of the restaurants were also great.
Be prepared to have the concierge meet and tell you about the "free brealfast" they were having for you. We read online and did not go; we explained we had no reason in attending. We received 2 more calls during our stay to come and kept telling them NO.

The property felt safe and was clean. We had the privileged private villa that included a private pool.
Paying extra for the privileged private pool did not include services like bar services. The bar or pool services do not provide any drink options to those in the private villas next to the adults infinite pool. Meaning you must leave your home to go to the bar and bring drinks back and forth. There is no reason to pay extra for a private pool with privileges because there are no extra features.
The food. If I could leave a negative 10000 I would. First never ever drink the water only drink out of bottles. Second, we tried every restaurant on the property and we still have not had a full meal since arriving on Tuesday. At the Italian we ordered the caprese appetizer and the tomatoes were green with blocked sliced cheese. The pizza was a worse than the lowest quality frozen pizza half cooked. The Asian sushi was rubber as if it had been thawed and refrozen multiple times. Room service was just as terrible with limited options and terrible texture and flavor.
Watching other people try to stomach the food without being rude is a sight to be seen. I could never imagine bringing a family with kids here with the lack of edible options.

Nothing, they just promise what they cant keep! Vert disappointed.
It was my honeymoon, they changed my room twice and there was never an A/C. A cockroach came up while I was bathing. I saw cockroaches in the fruits of the buffet. And the worst, I warned everything and they never fixed my complaint Waste my money!!
