this place is nasty.
(smelled really bad)situation was HORRIBLE.. The mosquitoes were all over the apt.The refrigerator stopped working and our $100 worth of food went bad ..also the water in the shower was brown.To top it off Daniel who gave us the keys and said if we need anything to call him...With that said we called him once about the AC and didn't hear from him again when we complained about the broken refrigerator....we had to find another place to stay with the proper amenities...
The pool that was showed to us as part of the amenities turned out to be NOT part of the amenities and we were not allowed to use it. The security guard said that it was no longer a part of Los Corales

Beautiful grounds, close walk to beach, grocery and restaurants. Great communication and friendly service.
Internet was not strong enough to work. To get a stronger signal had to work in living area but no A/C then. The unit was fine but it wasn't what I thought I was booking. Pictures were no where near what reality was.Probably wouldn't have booked it with the actual pictures. We needed to large deposit toward electricity which took almost all of our pesos we had. That was fine but advance notice would have been good. We only exchanged that much because it was the better deal. So we got lucky. No hot water and no water pressure.

The property is very clean. It is steps away from the beach. The owners are polite and intelligent. If returning to Punta Cana, I prefer this property.
Beach ppl left beer bottles outside of the property. It was not a lot of garbage, but annoying after a few days, I disposed of it myself. 1st bedroom would benefit from blackout curtains.

Closeness to the beach and local amenities
Couldnt get a wink of sleep. Other properties above rented out to party load of people who didnt sleep all night. We did not feel safe and the hosts were not the most helpful to say the least. They did move us in the end but to a below par apartment that had lights shining brightly through the windows all night and more banging and shouting outside.

Location and rooms.
Don't expect a "Villa" as it is advertised, it is an apartment located on the ground floor. As such, no much lighting: living room facing street so curtains are used all time. Do expect lots of mosquitoes inside the house. Overpriced compared to other places we stayed later on the same neighbourhood.

The apartment was spacious and clean.
There was no central air conditioning, just in the bedrooms. This meant the apartment was sweltering if you returned from a day of activities.
