Poor
Has a lot of tree, the workers from the restaurants are great, specially Mildred. Good live music. Adorable cute cats around, and very friendly. They provide filtered water anytime, because Punta Cana's water isn't treated at all. They provide all the essentials, towels, shampoos, conditioners, dish soap.
They said is a smoke free zone, but the downstairs neighbors smoked marijuana all day long, every second, including at night. I specified there were 3 asthmatics and they didn't care. The pool has so much chloride that our clothes faded the color and the kids ball was destroyed. Even after taking shower and cleaning very well your hair, the chloride small was still here. They don't explain well things, but keep in mind that using air conditioner or not you will pay a lot of electric energy. They will ask for a 150.00 US dollars to hold the reservation and it's not refundable, and when you arrive there they, surprise surprise, they demand more 250.00 US dollars in cash, that they will not tell you, it's for the electric energy. You turn on a light an you are paying already. They KW price is surreal. Probably the most expensive in the planet. Everything there is own by Russians and they are very unpolite.
The beach that you can go is very, but very dirty, with broken bottles on the sand and in the sea, we took tons of trash there everyday to take better pics and to hep mother nature. It's full of boats asking you to step aside, when there are in the seashore and you are the one that has to leave, they gas and kerosene smell that they leave everywhere is horrible, the workers in the boats throw plastic cups and glass bottle all the times in the sea. And the worst the boats make huge holes in the seashore, where children and people that doesn't know how to swim are, unfortunately someone will die from drown one day, I really hope they change that.

Before we were able to speak with Ana, the owner of the apartments, someone else contacted us requesting an advance payment, which we were unable to complete with our available payment methods. At one point, we were worried that our reservation would be canceled because we couldn’t make this payment.
Instead, we were told that in order to keep the reservation, we had to book their taxi service. They asked us for $45, while an Uber costs around $20. On top of that, in the initial message they had sent us, they mentioned that the taxi service from the airport to the hotel would cost $30.
Those were confusing days, as our messages were only being answered every 12 hours. We were genuinely concerned and even feared it might be a scam, as the communication was not clear.
However, we were finally able to reach Ana by calling her directly, and once we clarified everything with her, it all worked out fine.

The location of this property was stellar. Left to the beach club and right to the pool & shops. I loved my options each day when leaving!
There wasn’t much I didn’t like. There were no issues during my stay.

We loved the location right by the beach and close to many stores and restaurants. We loved the interior, the balcony, the access to beach chairs.
Dealt with people smoking and the smells coming in through vents and onto balcony from next door apartment rooms and on building ground.

Disappointing
Anna met us at the property
Right upon opening the "Superior Villa," I smelled musty moldy odor, which were everywhere in the kitchen, coming from under the sink, from the kitchen cabinets and from the drawers in the bedrooms. I encounter several cockroaches during our stay, one we found dead in the bedroom, two other I had to kill myself. Absolutely disgusting experience. I also did not like the beaches and streets littered with trash, not just here, but also at other beaches. I never saw anything like this in Puerto Rico or Aruba. Pushy intrusive vendors everywhere. The pool was also unkept, dirty, and closed at 6PM and we were forced to leave. I will never travel to DR anytime soon and will not recommend this place.

The host was extremely attentive. We had one little setback, but they made sure to address it quickly and efficiently. The location was perfect with everything you need within walking distance. And the beach was literally across the street. Would definitely book here again

The location was amazing, walking distance to the beach and several restaurants and grocery stores . The host was very friendly and helped us a lot by providing information about airport shuttles, tours, restaurants etc. I would definitely recommend this place if you are traveling with friends or family. Great experience.

The best thing about this place is the location. It's literally few steps from the most beautiful beach and residents can get the loungers for free on the beach. The landlords are very nice and cooperative. I'm glad we chose this place and I would highly recommend it if you're looking for a reasonably priced stay right on the beach. The place felt very safe and had a sit out area too. The only things we didn't like much was a weird smell in the bathroom, the shower pressure was weak and the beds are not that comfortable. But it was perfectly fine for a short stay. The location is excellent there is a mini market just outside and a few restaurants too. Everything is walking distance and the landlord also give a guide with all their recommendations which was a great help!

10/10 - Location. Very close (a 90-second walk) to a fantastic beach, Los Corales, that we absolutely loved - chill vibe, water activities, beach restaurants, great water, and free use of sun loungers and shaded huts for apartment guests. The location cannot be beat - the proximity to the beach is so convenient!
Nice part of town, all you need within walking distance. In no more than 10 minutes, you have cafes, money exchanges, a pharmacy, mini markets (Ciccollela was the best - air conditioning, good stock, baby supplies, souvenirs, fresh meat and cheese and veggies, cleaning supplies, pet food) and even Taco Bell.
10/10 - The host, Anna, was amazing. She was very professional, courteous, and accessible. She met us promptly upon arrival and calmly explained everything we needed to know. We had a few issues that she had her maintenance crew address right away. She provided a great pack n play with mattress for our 2 year old, with a $7 charge per night. It was all set up upon our arrival.
10/10 - Spaciousness. Apartment is large and could easily and comfortably sleep 6 or 7. The beds were comfy - better than a 5-star hotel we stayed at in Punta Cana!
10/10 - Swimming pool (not heated) was great. It's in the middle of the apartment complex, feels private and secluded, and was never crowded (and often empty). No sun loungers or chairs there, so people don't linger or make noise by the pool.
Other notes:
Air con units work really well in the two bedrooms. Fans in all other rooms. It was fine for us in January at 80 F / 27 C.
Good hot water (with a boiler) and water pressure in the showers. (But the bathrooms could use updating.)
The apartment complex was quiet. People were friendly and respectful. Not the booze cruise crowd.
It feels very safe. Door has two locks. Lots of staff walking around and cleaning.
There is a playground a 90-second walk away, at Villa Blanca on the beach right next door. See photo.
- The apartment (Two Bedroom with Pool View - Las Terrazas A4, with the green kitchen) was spacious, beds were comfy, and true to the online photos, but it was not quite to our taste. We would absolutely come back, but would maybe choose a different apartment.
- The apartment is on the ground floor and the back of it abuts an alleyway which is used as a parking lot (see photo). It's often noisy and you can clearly hear people's voices, clinking bottles, engines. Both bathrooms and the smaller bedroom have windows through which these noises can be heard. The small bedroom's window also faces the stairwell that leads to the garbage can - no view. Our 2 year old sleeps with a sound machine, so it didn't disturb her sleep. The master bedroom was very quiet.
- The apartment was cleaned quite well considering it has a kitchen and people track sand all over from the beach, but there were still a few cleaning issues we wish were better, particularly in the kitchen. We did cook there every day, but it wasn't always comfortable to do so.
Note that this is an apartment, not a hotel. There is no shampoo and the hand soap is the same as the dish soap, so pack or buy your own.
- The TV was very small and only in the kitchen area. This didn't disturb us.
We had a beautiful visit here and would definitely come back to stay at one of Anna's apartments.
