The beach!
Be aware of the timeshare sale people (Royal Holiday Vacation Club). They will approach you with breakfast reservation and a free gift then if you accept they will waste at least 3 hours and pressure you to purchase a membership.

Hotel is apartment style and was spacious and cleana lot of places to eat.

The beach
I booked my parents a room with platinum experience. While mom was showering the ceiling roof came down on her because of a water leak. Told the hotel and they sent someone to clean it and did not else. Waited 3 hrs not one manager showed up.

Plenty of activities for the children to do.
There could have been more variety of food and more authentic Dominican Food. Revamp menu have been to this resort more than once food is average at best.

the large size is nice
my room was infiltrated with groundwater so the floor was wet. it absolutely reeked of mold. it was uninhabitable. I got food poisoning and the staff denied it and told me I should leave the hotel and recover somewhere else. The food is terrible.

The beach is wonderful, great for swimming, the sand is clean. Overall, the food in the restaurants is excellent including the huge selection in the buffet restaurants. The staff in the restaurants was charming and attentive.
The staff at reception were a total disappointment - no follow through, no customer service. Need shampoo? Expect this to take more than a day, three visits to the front desk, and zero accountability. More complaints here but only 255 characters!!!!!!!

Some staff was very helpful. Some staff was very rude. First entry to room was beautiful and clean.
Strong smell of mold in room. Everything is damp. Premium beverage package did not contain any US domestic beers. All drinks were too sweet. OJ was not juice. It was a drink. Food was only average, nothing special. Not enough entertainment.

The location and landscape is beautiful
Felt like cattle upon checking in, when we got to the room it was dirty, there was dirt swept under the couch pieces of broken glass at the entrance of the shower, and a big gap under the door. The food was awful ended up leaving a day early, uncomfortab

The food , The beach and pool
Sink in the bathroom was never repaired. First reported and promised same day repair on Monday, reminded them on Tuesday, by Wednesday was still horrible. Limited number of beach chairs, no same day restaurant reservations .
