Exceptional
The apartment has everything you need for a short or long term stay. Sitting on the balcony over the pool watching the sun go down is fantastic. 5 minutes walk to the beach. Small but well stocked supermarket on your doorstep, Bus stop next to supermarket. Stayed in this apartment 2 years ago and will stay again.

The location was great! The apartment was furnished with everything you need. A full kitchen with a stovetop was available to cook your own meals. There is pool which is a great feature!
Only 10 kWh per day is included in the rate, any electricity consumed over that is billed to the renter. With the heat & humid of the Dominican, I left the air conditioning units running 24hrs, which consumes a lot of electricity.

The apartment has everything you need. Kitchen is well equipped. Balcony has 4 rockers and a fan to chill in the evening. Pool was cleaned daily and comfortable sun loungers. Supermarket on the corner and plenty of restaurants to choose from. Public beach entrance a 5-10 minute walk away. Very safe location.

Wonderful
This is a very comfortable appartement in a great location. Supermarket and bars just around the corner, swimmingpool in front of the door en the beach at a distance of only 10 minutes by foot. Wifi was very good (20mbps - even by the pool) and we we able to use the kitchen, shower (hot water), washing machine and ac/fans without paying any extra electricity bills. We especially loved the great balcony with comfy rocking chairs to spend our mornings and evenings.
The towels could use replacement and the water smelled quite badly. It was also noisy from the bars across the street. However, we did not expect a resort for this price, and neither should anybody, so we were not taken aback by this and did not mind it that much.

Amazing location: the beach is a 5min walk away, there are bars and restaurants around, and a supermarket. The apartment was spacious, clean, with everything you need (towels, kitchen utensils, drinking water, etc etc). The pool was also well maintained so it was nice to use it. The hosts were very helpful, always responsive! Even if you only get 10kwh/day its honestly enough, we stayed 5 days and didnt need to pay any extra even though we cooked everyday, did 3 loads of laundry, used the AC and fans everyday.
The water from the shower and sinks had a bad smell. There are also many mosquitos in the area (make sure to have mosquito repellent!).

Big and clean appartment. Everything was good and the host did a excellent job also the communication with the owner went really good!! Near to the beach and shopping and restaurants!! We enjoyed our stay very much. I would visit again when i go back. I cant say nothing bad everything was excellent!!

Very Poor
The location is favorable but there is very loud music from the bar next door. There are hundreds of other places to rent in this same area.
The ad pictures are not accurate. The facility is old and dilapidated. The price was cheap and that should be the first clue. There is a roach infestation. Mostly due to the improper cleaning in the apartment and food and grease left on appliances and on the floor. They have been there for quite awhile as evidenced by the sheer number of them. The owner claims they have not had any for years. The bed linens are old and worn to the point they are nearly see thru. The 10 kWh electricity included is barely enough to watch one tv with one fan on. If you try to stay comfortable with the air conditioning on or use the hot water you will exceed this. The pool is poorly maintained and was allowed to turn nasty green during our stay as no one was adding any chlorine or shock. This caused us to not be able to use it for five of the eight days we stayed. There are only 6 pool loungers for the entire complex and 3 of those are torn! The owner quibbled about any reimbursement, finally relinquishing $57 of our $210 amount after much discussion. I felt this was not sufficient for our troubles and for the filthy conditions we endured. He apparently does not care about us returning or our review. He did offer to send the cleaning lady back in two days before we left which would have done nothing to eradicate the roaches. You can see from the pictures the unsanitary conditions.
