Yes it was amazing views and very good apartment
Our stay at TAN Resorts Marina Cap Cana was truly unforgettable. From the very beginning, we felt welcomed and cared for. The hotel itself is beautiful — spacious, comfortable, with stunning views and a relaxing атмосфера, where you can truly switch off and enjoy every moment. But what made this experience so special was the people. The staff went above and beyond to help me organize a surprise birthday for my husband. They didn’t just assist — they genuinely cared about making it perfect. Every detail was thoughtfully arranged, and the result was beyond anything I imagined. It turned into the most magical day and the best birthday of his life. A very special thank you to Maria for making it all happen. Her professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail made this experience truly exceptional. The entire team was warm, friendly, and always ready to help. You could feel real hospitality — not just service. Thanks to them, our vacation became more than just a trip — it became a beautiful memory we will carry with us for a lifetime. We are incredibly grateful and would absolutely love to come back again.

Quiet, clean, convenient, food was good, staff were friendly and helpful and by comparison, good value for money. I stayed at 3 other places in the DR and was never coming back, but after the 4th, which was Tan Resorts, I very well may visit DR again.
I had no clue how to call reception from my room. Paper cups used to serve drinks - I understand around the pool, but the drink, a martini Orange, tasted like there was detergent in the cup!

Drink service at restaurant very slow or not accommodating. Always had to repeat my order or hunt down server. One meal my iced tea took 20 min and it came after we were finished and then the server placed it in a to go cup even after I refused it. I couldn't take it with me because we were on the way to a meeting and it would have spilled.

but the room and the breakfast were so under par. My room was not very well maintained the shower had stains there was gold confetti from previous guests, no coffee mug. I complained a lot while I was there.

I’d like to begin this review by expressing my sincere gratitude to the entire team at TAN Marina Resort (currently branded as Sports Illustrated), especially under the outstanding leadership of Dakara. From the moment you step through the doors, the service wraps around you like a warm blanket on a winter day—comforting, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Having stayed at numerous high-end properties across the Caribbean, particularly in Cap Cana, I can confidently say that no other resort has matched the level of personalized service I experienced here. Every staff member went above and beyond, anticipating needs before they were spoken. You won’t lift a finger—everything is delivered with grace, efficiency, and a smile. Each morning began with warm greetings and positive energy that carried through the day. The team’s dedication to guest satisfaction is truly unmatched. While I wish I could name every individual who made this stay unforgettable, here are just a few of the standout stars: • Christopher – Masterful bartender with a welcoming spirit • Google – Entertainment dynamo who kept the vibe alive • David – Attentive and friendly lifeguard • Richard – Impeccable service as a waiter • Jose – Our nightly waiter, a master of anticipation who greeted us warmly and made every dinner a delightful experience • Freddy – Talented chef behind the delicious cuisine • Joan, Ivin, Junior (our driver), Alejandro, Sammy, and of course, Dakara – each brought something special to the experience The culinary team deserves special recognition for their exceptional work. Every dish was masterfully crafted—from presentation to flavor—and consistently exceeded expectations. Whether dining at the main restaurant or grabbing a bite poolside, the quality never wavered. The pool area chef prepared exquisite snacks daily, and even a simple hot chocolate tasted like something from another level. You can confidently order from any outlet knowing you’ll be delighted.

The Villa was very nice! The staff was amazing! Specifically remembering Felix our bartender and Natalyn (sp) (Maybe)our server. The front desk the manager (looked like he was related to Albert Pujols ?) The use of the golf carts for traveling the local area.
Spotty internet service. We weren't aware to not put toilet paper in the commode.

The only thing I liked about the property was the aesthetics of it.
The property was in the issue that main issue was a staff. Let’s staff treats you like you are bothering them we had the worst experience ever. The staff has very poor communications among each other and they do their job like just half ass everything. I would also like to add on that he wants to be the staff on the beach were very rude and they served uncooked Food and they also try to serve somebody else’s leftovers to us and so be honest I don’t know what was done about the whole situation because we did complain in reception and we didn’t hear back or what was done with all of the things that I’m staying right now. The hotel is also not medical issue friendly for example there was a person waiting for over an hour and trying to contact room service they had diabetes that wasn’t able to go to the buffet before it closed and Food was not offered to him after he complained about not being able to make it on time to the buffet and that he was hungry and had to drink his medication so if you’re going to This resort make sure you don’t have any medical illnesses that could put your own life at risk because so be completely honest they don’t care. I also felt like most of the staff were very discriminatory to worse us. I say that’s because I was a Dominican I saw them prioritize tourists rather than treating us like equals I am a US citizen but my parents are both Dominicans so I speak the language very well and because I was communicating with my family in Spanish most of the time they treated us less than the rest of the tourists they were there. They probably has them when it came to service even though we were sitting there before they were.

The location was ok. Only wish is to have a beach within walking distance.There is a shuttle to a beautiful beach with food and drink available. Staff and food were both above average.
When we arrived our room wasn't ready. Upon waiting for over 4 hours we finally able to enter the room which was nearly 8 pm. Our room key stopped working. Our server was rude at the beach restaurant but then apologized.
