Was definitely white DNA in bedspread upon arrival.
Extremely noisy at night .
Road traffic is unbearable especially at night.
Motorcycles especially until 2am nightly.

Disappointing
The staff were friendly and tried to be helpful, albeit things were a little disjointed. The food, once received, was very good.
The surrounding area was not good. Both pools were unusable due to dirtiness. Bathrooms were not appointed well and showers were old and dirty. Credit cards were not accepted and getting a receipt for services was very difficult and not all inclusive, once received.

It’s beautiful, just like the pictures. In the US, we would call this a “boutique motel.” Decor is simple but authentic. My room was very clean. It was a very warm night, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I was able to purchase dinner without leaving the property, and they were able to help me secure a taxi for the following morning. I arrived late at night so I did not need nor use any of the amenities.
My driver and I tried to find the property using Apple Maps, and we drove right past it. The name on the hotel does not match the name on Booking. So it was hard for us to find the property at first. The neighborhood itself did not feel walkable nor safe at night. The property is close to the street and there was lots of noise, honking horns shouting sounded like fireworks too, until about midnight. But on the property I felt extremely safe. I would stay there again.

The breakfast was filling, and the service was number one. Our evening dinner was super with a good amount and very tasty hats off to the cook. I must also say at this time it was very nice to talk with Louis David and CHRISTIAN. They were very good ambassadors.
Buy drinks were excellent. My wife would have preferred to have a white wine. Pricing was very good.

Wonderful
The location was just a short walk to the beach and the Malecon. There was plenty of free parking. The room was large and clean. The bed was large and comfortable. The shower had plenty of hot water and great water pressure. There was a small refrigerator and TV in the room.
I couldn't get the WiFi to work...

Very pretty grounds
The property is in a state of disrepair and desperately needs renovation. The bathrooms, in particular, are in a deplorable condition, with a corroded sink that's unusable for washing. To make matters worse, the toilet doesn't flush properly, requiring manual intervention to fill the tank with water. Additionally, the constant noise from locals' motorcycles makes it challenging to get a good night's sleep.

I loved the helpful staff though only Joe and Lois spoke English the other staff tried their very best to communicate with us so we were comfortable. They tried their best to ensure we were not lacking in anything.
Their food wasn't good, and they have a policy that says no food allowed inside. They need a variety of things on the menu or at least have some other options for food recommendations. They are lenient and understanding, though, so I believe changes can be made in the future.

The breakfast was simple but good. It was the same each morning consisting of a fried egg, a sandwich with ham and cheese, fruit, coffee and juice.
The property was well maintained. The staff could not have been better!
Noise! The property doesn’t sit on a main road but it is a well traveled road and the noise from the vehicles passing by was almost unbearable. Our room was at the very end of the building and closest to the road which probably impacted things.
