Disappointing
The Breakfast buffet restaurant was nice and we got good service there.
Altos the Chavon village is cool and La casita restaurant in the Marina was very good.
The golf court looks nice, but we didn’t go
Horseback riding was also fun.
The rooms are definitely not 5 star, more like 2 or 3 stars. Beds are narrow and hard and nothing that felt like luxury. We didn’t get a refill on shampoo and shower gel . Feels really old and dated.
One of the pools did not work when we where there and they only had two of them.
Kids club require reservation but no one told us that at check in, so our kids got turned away one of the days. The kids club is only open until 4, and after that you have to pay extra.
Impossible to get reservations at restaurants if you try a few days in advance. Luckily we had made a resrvation 2 months in advance for a big group but communication was so slow.
A lot of things are not included in the all inclusive package. Like the beach restaurant and ice cream on the beach. you also have to pay extra for work out classes like yoga.
Beach is also soooo far away from the hotel, and there is no sea view from the hotel pool.
In general very disappointing.

Golf was fantastic and all facilities and restaurants were excellent
Double beds are too small. For the price per night a room with 2 beds should be at least a Queen.

I felt unwell on the day I arrived at the hotel, the staff helped me get to a nearby hospital, accompanied me and took care of me throughout the medical visit, helped translate the information the doctors said and also make sure how I was feeling the next day. It really gave a good feeling, I didn't expect such good treatment and high-level service.
In addition, they let my partner take out food from breakfast for me so I could eat something when I was still sick and couldn't get out of bed. The staff and service were wonderful.
Here too, it is important for me to note that I received a quick, efficient response and high-level service. The air conditioner motor in our room was making noise, they sent someone to take care of it immediately and tried as much as they could to solve it at that moment. We left the next day so we did not insist on the treatment, yes it is worth checking the noises in case you put the air conditioner on the highest power.
