Literally only the location.
The staff wasn't really helpful, all the common areas were super busy and noisy, the room was super small and the bathroom was mouldy and I found blood drops on the wall of the toilet. I couldn't hang my clothes anywhere and the tiny cupboard was so small I had to squeeze in everything. Copenhagen over all is super overrated, so boring and stupidly expensive....I didn't enjoy my stay at all.

The hostel is very well located, good base to walk though the city and close to train and metro stations. The building is tall visible logo when you look up.
The rooms are in fact a little bit small.

My first time staying in a hostel I stayed in female 4 bed dorm and felt safe, there’s storage for your belongings Lovely social area and staff so friend Would really recommend
Maybe curtains on bed would’ve been good BUT it has a little nook

A cool and affordable hostel with some minor but not deal breaking cons. Would visit the place again.
Some minor issues in the bathroom like broken plastic parts. Beds are quite soft and lack curtains.

I reserved female dormitory by mistake and upon arrival property told me that we cannot upgrade you and cannot offer stay. On top of that no refund as well

Hi Steelhouse team, I'm writing this as a regular guest who has recommended you to a lot of people over the years, and because what happened on the night of 28 to 29 October does not match what I know of you. I arrived at about 5:30 in the morning, in a suit, without a reservation for that night, and asked only to wait in the lobby. The night staff told me I could not enter the building before 7:00 and kept me outside the door, in the cold, until then. During the day the same staff member was visibly annoyed every time we crossed paths. Your cameras will show all of this. I know hostels have rules for the night, and I know I was not a guest at 5:30. But keeping someone outside a lit, staffed lobby for ninety minutes is not a security measure, it is a choice, and it is not the Steelhouse I have been sending people to. I'm sharing this so you can look at how the night shift handles early arrivals. Other than that, what you are building, a hostel where everyone can be themselves, is something I believe in and will keep recommending. Best regards, Ali Rıza Sancar
