Very poor housekeeping; only the location is good.
The service—especially housekeeping—shows a complete lack of care and basic common sense.
Before booking, understand what to expect: you will be asked whether you want daily cleaning. Even if you say yes, the staff may only make the beds and clean the bathroom. The floor is not properly cleaned, used cups are left unwashed, and coffee sachets are not replenished.
You are essentially left to manage these basic things yourself. For a hotel at this price level, the housekeeping standard is unacceptable. there was no phone at all in the room. even you scan the QR code, nobody picks up when you call.

Breakfast buffet was very good.
Location is fairly close to Tivoli Gardens but a 25 minute walk from the heart of the city. A/C was fine but not as cool as we would have liked in the overnight hours.

Relatively close to Metro stations and the 10 to 15 minute walk from a lot of major attractions. As well as a fun kids club that can keep young kids entertained.
The cleaning service is subpar, basically your room is just not cleaned. New towels have hairs on them. Soap is not refilled and breakfast was below average. I paid $750 Canadian a night and felt I was staying at the Holiday Inn.

We enjoyed our stay at the Scandic Copenhagen and would return. It is very well located, a short walk from the main station and close to main sights, including Tivoli Gardens.
The reception staff were friendly on arrival. There was a slight issue in that the sofa bed had not been made up for our children, but this was rectified within minutes of raising it with reception.
The room itself was fine. It was modern and clean, more functional than luxurious, and not that much space, with the sofa bed made up for our two children, but comfortable enough, and we didn't really need more for the days we were there. It also had a nice view over the water.
The breakfast was a real highlight. Lots of selection: fruit, cereals, breads, cheeses, cold meats, pastries, yoghurts, eggs, bacon, pancakes, waffles, etc etc. Yes, I have had more extensive ranges within each category of breakfast food at more expensive hotels, e.g., ten different types of fruit compared to five, but the buffet was way above and beyond what I expected. I particularly liked the effort the hotel made to cater to different dietary needs, e.g., a fridge stocked with alternative milks and gluten-free bread. Another nice touch was access to a chilled water container to fill up water bottles for the day.
Lastly, we, our kids especially, appreciated how the hotel had made a conference room available for children to use during the summer holidays. The table tennis and table football were big hits with our kids, but there were also soft play items, crafts, a wooden train set, and a PlayStation. Totally unexpected, but a nice bonus for them to use at the start and end of each day or when we had free time.
For eating out locally, we enjoyed a good evening meal at Cafe 98 - diagonally opposite the hotel and at Tivoli Food Court.
No complaints really. As noted, there was an issue with the sofa bed not being made up when we arrived, but this was sorted out very quickly.

We appreciated our upgrade (due to unavailability of standard rooms in the price bracket we had booked).
The view was great as was the window seat. Liked being able to make hot drinks.
A small fridge would have been appreciated.

Location
The shower was too small, not comfortable. (wet floor after shower). The room was also too small. The concierge of the hotel was always not available, we have to wait for a long time. The baggage storage was downstair but no elevator, that's very bad to carry big luggage walking downstair with no assistance from hotel staff at all. Check in time should ne 15.00 instead of 16.00. No coffee machine which 4-star hotel should provided
